Actually buying @ selling your own coins to yourself is allowed, I do it all the time.

And if your the only one buying & selling and your on cryptsy, you can accumulate points & rebates.. so its not as outlandish as you may think.

...
well to sell coins back to you is not allowed on any exchange i know this for sure as i did try to do it once & got caught....lost more than you can imagine tbh

secondly its a fools errand to even try to do it the fees will lose you BTC every time no matter how much you sell buy

Finally if the wallet is under maintenance its not possible to mine & dump as the wallet is not accepting deposits so the scenario you have suggested cant be right

i am sorry if i seem a little worried about the price drop i now have rather a lot in DGB more than i planned & i would like to see some sort of price stability, as it stands since the hard fork & the investment DGB seems to be in a far worse place than before

I have enough BTC to pump this baby up & TBH get out but as i have been informed a pump is not whats needed, maybe then all you wise investors could point me in the direction of what is needed to make the price move up a little or at least stabilize to a set price.

I am all eyes & ears to any suggestion you all may have Shocked

Place a huge buy wall @15-16, then wait, no need to pump, and DGB @15-20 SAT is a great SALE.
But of course, if you could get any cheaper, then your profit will be better, therefore, place buy walls if you got good amount of BTC @12,13,14,15 and maybe 16.
That will slow down the dumps and you will be getting cheap DGBs. Don't remove your buy walls, until you really need to Wink

PS: I don't find selling to yourself ethic and logical in any means.

Considering the low volume, it may be to the benifit of others, before the fees go up on the 15th, due to low volume. FWIW, I dont do it on DGB Nor would I unless it was literally priced in the 1000's, not saying others wouldent tho.

whats going on with DGB on cryptsy seems to me there is a bot lowering the price for some reason anyone have any clue as to why this is
repeat sell orders of 2434.40999883DGB
I think it is a miner with autodump.

That figure just so happens to match the current block reward.

Is scrxxx still trying to make a living?   Cheesy

Kind of strange though with their wallet being off-line for maintenance.  Huh

BTW, is there really anyone who thinks it's interesting to trade with oneself? Accumulating points and rebates? As if that were profitable and not a losing proposition after commissions are factored in?

Its very profitable, especially when the points value can shoot up large percentages for valuable drawings.

With the wallet in maint @ Cryptsy, its probably like I said, some one that had coin purchaced & sitting on the exchange already. Their mining, & selling their pre-bought coins as they roll in from mining.

If this goes back to 11 sat it would be a total steal.  And it looks like it's heading there now.

Nice!

Wallet is fine, network is in sync. This stuff happens often with Cryptsy, DGB has contacted, hang in there....

I am here for the long haul so either way it doesn't matter to me obviously I want it up but I wouldn't mind a dip so I could get more Smiley

The thing that gets me is this coin is worth 157k and we are ranked 99th in crypto right now..14satoshi would bring us under Top 100... The price is already ridiculously low if you ask me, this coin should be in with the top ten ... So basically in my mind 15 satoshi is a stupid cheap deal even top 50 would put this coin over 40satoshi and I still think that is low market cap...Anyways that is my rant Smiley

I like how its 'soo cheap', and 'worth 157000sat', yet he wants it 'cheaper'.. I think.. if in your pipe dreams it ever hit that, the small difference from buying now vs @ 11, would highly negate itself. So Mr Visionary, wheres the 300 BTC order @ 11? *sigh* lol.. screw it.. time for another cat pic...

is digibit the same as multibit? but than for digibyte?
Yes. It is our first desktop solution that allows a user to download a wallet and receive their first DigiBytes within a couple minutes. This will become more important as time goes on.

I agree with Jared, soon the wallets will turn into mobiles and multibit, digibit style applications will gain much more importance for fast transactions when you get into a coffee shop etc..., for daily use. I think focusing on the daily use of DGB is very important in terms of many things. Maybe later on, Jared will start up a Digicard, or DigiSpend or DigiPay, or DigiBuy, where you can have a gadget, device (not only phone, but if you have a smart phone, you may be able to pay with a scanner like a QR code maybe) filled with DGB to your personal wallet address, so that you can buy anything on the day you went out Wink beers, coffee, ticket, online shopping (should be the easiest), all other brick and mortars. Desktop applications will only be like a safe where you can hold the rest of your valuable DGBs, and send a bit of DGBs to your phones, gadgets for daily use, only for the day Smiley Lets see. Future is bright with DigiByte.
They are already in the works Smiley

Good to hear, Glad to see this coin and the community support doing so well Smiley

I don't like to speak about the actual value of DGB because we (the fairly supporters/investors) are here for the long haul... BUT I agree that DGB has been and is actually too much undervalued.

Digibyte team doesn't want a simple pump, because this will create an artificial growth of its market. But regarding the market cap, it will be kinda easy for some BTC holders who have interests in seeing DGB price going up to make a regular increase, for few days/weeks... in order to give more attention to this market.

Doing a pump alone will not be profitable for sure... but what about doing it in a group of investors who will be able to planned this regular increase (for exemple to 40 satoshis in 2 weeks for a first step)? And this can be easily improved by doing it when the time is coming for a new great announcement. The thing is that more people will join into DGB community when its price/market cap will growth... as well as everything which is arround the coin... BUT if DGB will hit a critical point (let's say @10 satoshi), it will be hard to give it to the moon one day because the market will kill DGB before the team will have the time to implement everything they are working on.

I don't know what you think about what i'm saying, but even if Digibyte team doesn't want a simple pump, I would be glad to know what they think about a regular increase day after day, artificially made by investors themselves, but which will improved the market health if it will be done properly, in GROUP.
