Hey Guys! I've been away from mining for a while. I mined a few thousand DGB's early this year, and wanted to get back into it. The wallet was deleted from my PC, but I still have the %appdata% DGB folder.

If I just download the newest wallet, will that pull from the old wallet info? Thanks in advance.

As long as the wallet.dat is in the correct place it should!

When you visit the Digibyte Block Explorer, the title bar name of the page says Bitcoin instead of DigiByte. It's like this on several of the pages, none of them say Digibyte in that title bar.

Here's an example:

My current miner setup: Linux - Ubuntu 12.04, Two 1.3Mh/s Scrypt ASICs, Two Radeon HD 7850 GPU mining different algos (usually qubit or skein).
Click here for my DGB Address QR code.   DGB Address: D6ZLjbSWu2mse3EqtoSn93nFrJ85wPKBF5
I have the DGB Gaming Wallet on my Galaxy S6

LOL lets just face it DGB is frucked....no matter what we say, do,post, wind each other up, cat pictures (funny or not) DGB is in a world of shit

no matter what you do pump or dump its the same thing, price going down & no way to stop it unless you want to invest your whole life in it

I read a post in this forum about a of 20DGB million minimum investment in to this......well let me say to you all!!!

If anyone needs to buy 20 million DGB as an investment in this coin i would seriously consider buying into something else......Jez h Christ 20 million DGB is pointless you just as well invest the amount of BTC/DGB in to fresh air being speculated on the Forex in the next 2 months

I have far more than your 20 million target MATE & i certainly will not be buying anymore.

when it drops down to less than 13 sats trust me i will drop my coins & run

Sometimes faith can blind you.....Jared you have much to do & i will stake 10BTC now if you can pull this off no problem at all

Just set up a wallet with 2 passwords & i will send to it 10BTC tomorrow morning as stake you cant do what you have set out to do with DGB

Sorry mate call my bluff or be honest & tell this forum you have fucked up

GAME ON

I agree with a lot of what is being said knowing very little makes it hard to throw MORE money at it. Cryptocurrency already has hundreds of coin like that

Just cause someone says just keep investing doesn't make it a good investment!

A LITTLE communication wouldn't hurt... I am not asking for Jared too become customer service on here but how but how bout a Hey guys we are still alive!!... With that said I am banking on the fact the next updates will be big... This is long term for me.

I don`t understand you guys , the Digibyte team and Jared were very active throughout the year ,
in a few days will be X-max and after that new year, they deserve their well earned break .
Digibyte will celebrate it`s first birthday in january while the most coins don`t survive the first couple of months,
making a coin is a long time process and the first year was just a preparation for the coming one
good things will happen to Digibyte in 2015  Smiley

Yup, I called it, fear and panic setting in.  Sounds about right for crypto.  Too many people looking for quick profits.  You can't sustain any market like that.

Might you mention some other possibility that offers the same long term risk/reward? I'd love to know about another Digital Currency with prospects that are similar - I'm always looking for other similar investments.

...when it drops down to less than 13 sats trust me i will drop my coins & run

That's a key part (panic selling at lows) of the market behavior that causes 90% of participants to lose money.

Not to worry too much though, what you sell will find a good home.  Wink

+1 Thank you for the support!

As stated, many, many times we are in this for the long haul. We are working very hard right now and have several projects that will come to light in the January time frame around the time DigiByte will turn 1 year old.

How many other coins out there have showed constant support and development for 1 year?

We are not in this for a massive pump and dump. We are aiming to create a nice gradual rise as this is much more healthy for an emerging market.

We are just about ready to release the iOS wallet to the community for more testing. We have also started submitting it to the iTunes Apple store.

We also have a working port of Armory.

We have put a lot of things into motion over the past few months that will come to light and be very beneficial to DigiByte in the near future.

We are very open to any questions, concerns and comments the community has. Thanks again!

I haven't been able to connect to the qubit pool on http://digihash.co/ for a day or so now. Is something up?

are you getting all rejected shares or a "dead" pool?

Same problem for me, I tried all three of the different qubit difficulty pools with my CPU miner:

$ tail -f log-cpuQ.1419016606
[2014-12-19 14:16:46] 3 miner threads started, using 'qubit' algorithm.

We are looking in to this. This is only for the Qubit algo correct? The other 4 algos seem to be working correctly.

Long Term Mining Proceeds

As is clearly seen, we're down to long term average levels, but not much lower. That's due to the diff falling substantially after the fork as miners moved away. The end result is mining that is still very profitable - still "at the top of the charts" - when taken comparatively and on a relative basis.

This is good stuff to take to the gaming community. How's that particular effort going? Anyone got news on that front?

Did you download the wallet from the website or OP on this thread? Just so you have not downloaded any virus or something.

Try to resync/reindex your wallet.

Have you tried restarting the wallet with the -reindex or -rescan command?

Are you on Windows or a Mac?

why is everybody complaining about the "low" activity of the devs. every coin has this discussion further or later.
devs need to work and get shit done. If they always sit in front of their computer they cant be productive. and then everyone complains why there are no updates. so please trust those devs. they did a great job and as far as I can see they answer questions every day. that s not normal in my eyes. some devs are offline for days and than show up with great ideas and new things.

be patient Wink long haul is a long time.

Thanks for sharing this HR! It is very interesting.

We are indeed working to engage the gaming community at larger. However, until we are ready to roll some things out we do not want to tip off the competition.
