Found 3 blocks with 4 r9 280x cards totalling 17.51mh in one hour... Can it do better? Hottest card is at temp 50 celsius. Is it because algorithms are not as memory intensive as scrypt?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Somewhere here were explanation of this getting much less coins. Just mine solo, it's still going like before.
Can you explain how we can "mine solo" or own pool(connect other miners to some server/node) Thanks. Start miner minerd64 -a qubit -o http://127.0.0.1:7799 -u 123 -p 1234567890qwertyuiop Sample qubitcoin.conf Code: rpcuser=123 rpcpassword=1234567890qwertyuiop rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=7799 port=7788 server=1 How to solomine with GPUminer?

with the introduction of GPU miners there is no more convenience in CPU mining..
i'm quitting this coin.. in 24H i did just 17 coins... (with 24 cores)..
bye guys...
this was the perfect example of how to kill a good coin :|
i will keep the wallet to see the value in 6-12 months..

Wow, there's huge difference between 280X and 7970 in temperature. i have 73C, but with 5,1 Gh/s. Anyway solomining rocks, 3000 in last 7 hours.

lol, ciao With the introduction of GPU mining the coin is just starting its way to prosperity. The only thing that is changed is that the network hashing will be backed by other ppl who own GPUs. And they will draw coins from CPU botnets to their wallets. All in all the interest in Q2C will rise now, so the price will go up as well. Good luck with other coins. For those CPU botnet owners I will give a free advice (or you can send me some LTC if you like ): Go mine DataCoin, the only CPU coin left. Also DTC has a super concept of data storage inside blocks, so it's different from other coins and has a huge potential. Good luck to all CPU miners!

It's the end of CPU mining, not of the coin.

Why if I receive even 1 rejected share (job XXX not found) I got "worker is temporarily banned"? After this message the pool returns only "worker is temporarily banned" even if new shares are accpeted. I need to restart miner to works normal. I use https://www.mine-pool.net/qubit/.

I am so glad that I've mined some Q2C (200K) with own CPUs from beginning and now I can turn off them. That's enough for me, since GPUs overtakes CPUs.
