Hi Salsacz, abt the Indian language. India is a mixture of different languages, but the primary one is Hindi. Bt again most ppl in India understand English, so i think it will not be a constraint for the Nxt.

Isn't it so that people of lower cast also understands English?

India is not illiterate like before. And abt the lower caste, this is damn ridiculous. There is no lower or upper caste, all are human beings.

For India, I'd aim for Hindi, English and maybe Bengali and Telugu.

Hindi would seem the best option as most educated people would understand either English or Hindi, I think.

Most people involved with IT will be able to speak/understand English at a medium level, though.

Do you think it's irrelevant to coordinate newsletter looks with the rest of the PR material? Maybe it's ok to just use the same logo for the different NXT projects but be unique in other design aspects? It opens up for a wider spread campaign for NXT… Any thoughts?

I think all sites basically take a logo and the color blue or red as a support colour to white.

I'm doing a redesign of nxtcoins.nl this weekend, but that's basically my design strategy.
I don't like sites that are too heavy on colours anyway. Gives such a sloppy look.

I barely started it and will work properly on the site in a few days, but besides articles in spanish, essential links and others I will post comprehensive tutorials and try to offer another corner for the spanish speaking community.

I've also registered nxtspain.com and nxtspain.es, which should be redirected soon to the main nxtspain.org site.

I'd be happy to conform to any color schemes and layouts.

And regarding languages for translation, I'd consider french in the second group if we stick to crypto community, more relevant than indian.

btw we need to figure out how to get audience to the right sites. It looks like everyone can choose his own favourite Nxt site and promote it (to friends, at schools, conferences, CONventions, blogs, twitters, facebooks, pinterests)... there was nxtcrypto, but now we have more sites like this. + a site with only NRSs, we have local sites.... 3 big forums this is Nxt, we probably never get to the consensus about: 1 official page, 1 official forum, Facebook....

Different spirits make different looks. Nxt is the glue that adds them all together. So it will be. And I like it

I just caught up with the thread. Can you explain the NxtMarketing acc, it says 1000 for a newsletter. Is that setting it up or pr issue sent? Some NXT for original articles are also mentioned, does this mean that authors posting an article on nxter.org (which will be cited and linked/brought in the newsletter) are up for that bounty? Or how does it work. I'm just trying to find out how much is included in your marketing plan - if I should concentrate on getting the newsletter going or seek sponsors elsewhere + what contributors can expect.

Looking at my site stats going up steadily and seeing the summaries being shared on Twitter today, I'd say that people are getting extremely news hungry.
DAILY updates to the site, even small snippets!

If I may give a simple update tip: do them everyday at the same time! Doesn't matter which time (our readers cross all timezones) but do it religiously at the same time. This helps create a feeling of anticipation. I missed one day with my summaries and already received emails half an hour after the normal post date.

Totally agree! I believe there is room for endless niche NXT sites, but they have to fill a gap. I have a plan for nxter.org but I'll fill you in later. Gotta go and feed kids now.

I hope not and hope it is the typical spam trolls doing their routines but since I see some known
Nxt faces oppening some threads of that type recently, I would say if it is a planned "spreading the
word of Nxt" strategy, then it is a very stupid one and will have more negative effects than positive
in the long run..

@salsacs: About the presses I inquired for the already awarded 100K, fortunately CoinDesk published a news
about bter adding Nxt, in which Nxt features has been explained a bit, so no matter that press resulted
out from your efforts or not, I count it as the first one credited.
So you now need to have two more important news press in ZeroHedge, WallStreet or btcmagazine until the
end of March to satisfy the whole 100K bounty condition.
And I am following your team efforts, very good active collaborations, thank you.

Now is the time for another thread to push publishing, helping and supporting new third-party projects-services
that use Nxt as a medium of exchange. For example a good gambling-poker platform, or an auction or digital good
selling site.. so on. Without having this step done and developing a small live economy around Nxt supply we can not expect
Nxt to be accepted by big retailers who sell or provide physical goods in future, no matter how good or excellent the Nxt core
is developed or no matter how many speculators has bought in Nxt and risen its temporary exchange value.

It just happened after FrictionlessCoin started promoting NEX. The night that happened some people started about 5 of these threads. One (NEM) even turned into a legitimate effort to start a coin (possibly on top of NXT).
Then someone started KLONE: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=423647 and the shit hit the fan.
People started to make sockpuppets and set up parodies.
It's gotten a bit out of hand...

I'm going to work on a nxt auction site this weekend, at least look into how to set it up. Might have to hire help to make it good. I'll know more about that after the weekend.
Also looking to start a Nxt classifieds thing. I won't touch gambling as that is more difficult here in NL.
I agree that this is the time to start these things up, now that more Nxt is in people's pockets and it needs to turn into a spendable coin.
Has Bit777 already ironed out the wrinkles? They were going to add Nxt to their accepted currencies.

That seems a good idea.
When I have had some time think and have a better idea of what my plan is, I'll open such a thread and start it off with my plan and invite others to put theirs in there, too.
This will need to be announced on the other forums, too, as there are developers who mainly stay in there, but I'd like such a thread to be organised in one place, if possible. That way people with the same idea might form a partnership if it seems more logical of financially sound.

We need to establish ourselves in the Chinese market more. BTer was a good start, but it's still a small chinese exchange.
Also: we need all the big bitcoin magazines to write about us, they already write about DOGE, Ethereum etc.
Forbes too, the established financial magazines want to be the first to write about financial developments, so let's give them something to write about. Locally too, contact your local, whatever country you live in, biggest financial magazines about it.

We already got Nifty at the Bitcoin Miami conference and we are preparing a much bigger deal on the Berlin one.


I think showmatches in the biggest eSports is also grand and I have been trying to raise funds for this for a month now. That would give us tens of thousands of people who are already well versed in technology becoming aware of NXT and it being a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. We need to implant NXT in the subconscious of people. That is how marketing works.
So Starcraft 2, CoD, BF4, League of Legends etc. would be A+


I am also in talks with a professional AD maker about making a mini-docu (15 min or so) about the history of money from we were hunter gatheres and up to now with NXT. Outlining the problems of centralization that has existed since the beginning of banks. This is the sort of video that could easily go viral on anti establishment sites and especially in libertarian leaning people.
