Does crypto bring more risk than benefit?

Crypto investments were always risky, they brought more risk that's why there's the first rule of investing in crypto is that invest only that much which you can afford to lose. And it's pretty right at the moment, as market has tumbled a lot and still needs some bull run to get to even 40-50% of there all time high, let alone there ATH.
Most of the people have invested in scam projects or dead coins and therefore start blaming crypto for there loss. These people will never research initially and bought just because price was continuously going up, infact some of them bought at coins all time high and now sitting at 90% loss.

Central bank Governor of Spain has told the cryptos bring more risk than the benefits to get. but I believe on more risk more gain theory. I would not take seriously the word of the central bank of a country with so many economic problems, it is normal that they feel afraid because at the end of the day they see cryptos as competition that will put their business at risk, even though cryptos actually have an inner risk due to the lack of regulations and anonymity, I also consider that the benefits are much greater, just look at the plus of being able to make international transfers without the need for intermediaries is enough to have the cryptos in the approval.
