Personally I'd put twice as much in to PB Mining if there was more information on their website and there were more details on their mining operations.  Unfortunately half of my GHS are on other services so I don't keep all my eggs in one basket.

I AGREE 100% I think they should look at being alittle more transparent!   I'd love to take all my Gh/s out of CEX and drop them on here but it just seems like there is so lil back ground on this company.  Afterall, this hole community is about transparency!  Hopefully they will start adding some more info other then hey we just came out of the blue and buy our GH/s we promise we won't just take your money and run........ I'm not knocking the service I'd just like to see alittle more info from the company, their customer service from my dealings with them have been spot on.   Lets see some pictures of the miners or something!

That topic has been discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418183.640
And our stance is still the same.

We don't want to show you any information on our set up if we don't have to.  We are getting plenty of business the way we are set up already.  We do not want to violate our sales agreements with our supplier(s) and there are other issues which may put our entire operation and customers at risk if we were to fulfill these requests.

Did you know?: Most of our hash power comes from other sources.  We are now specialized in the resale of cloudmining contracts through our associates!

Yeah, but you could show us something to help proving you are not a ponzi. For example showing the stats page of your pool like Peta-mine is doing or showing some newly mined coins as has requested many times. Reading this thread I've understood that the returns that you pay are not newly mined coins which is very suspicious.

It's a shame, because you'd be a multi-millionaire if you did.  I've shown plenty of people the pb website, but only one has signed up because of the lack of information.  I've been happy to take the risk myself, but I've found it hard to convince others to put money in to this operation.

I should also add that we have had seen numerous attempts at extortion, especially when we started showing "some" transparency such as posting our business registration.  Threats were also injected directly into our database via SQL from attackers back in January, as our earliest customers will remember.  Not to mention we have received some odd phone calls which hit a little "too close to home".  For PB Mining to survive, we are not going to take unnecessary risks.  And trust me, in this industry, transparency = risk.  We would rather see only 20% of our potential with sales and survive long and prosperously, than to risk damaging what we have.  For this reason, I tell everybody "If you are not satisfied with the lack of information, please don't invest".

Eventually when we have much stronger security (which is also the reason for our new upcoming site), and certain terms in our sales agreements have been lifted, things will be a lot more different.  We thank all of our customers who have shown us a high level of trust and we will strive to not let anyone down.  PB Mining is here to stay.

[by the way, cex.io is positively offensive- they are such a blatent ripoff.]

*.io is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the British Indian Ocean Territory
there are also deals in zimbabwe and somalia, similar to cex.io. ... not to mention kingdom of cyprus. Undecided

Ha, i've been waiting for one particular non-enthusiast anti-bitcoiner to ask me what i'm going to do when the value drops to zero...
I'll tell him ... "That's the perfect time to buy!"

saw the overstock atricle earlier today..
Tiger direct accepts btc..
