United-miners.com pool here
Sorry to not have posted on here earlier but getting the pool back end working again and people getting there coins was more important.
We suffered issues due to our own success as we found the most of the first 500 block on our pool and at time of writing we have found over 990 now
This influx of very fast blocks at the coins lunch and 5 big ddos attacks caused issue with the jobs that run the payouts etc getting confused and took some time to sort out.
At no time was the stratum server or the shares being submitted by miners affected, this was purely a post processing issue.
To recap
We have not lost any coins and the pool is now up to date with all payments and blocks.

I understand the need for KGW and its benefits.... But I was excited all day for this coin to launch, and here it is 6 hours later I have 2.71 FOX in my wallet... lol....

Been mining with a spare computer at 250mH/s for fun on Hackshard since the launch and only received 14 Fox coins. Does that sound right? Something seems messed up there.

well I fudged up the launch. but other then the launch going sower and we missed all the small difficulty blocks yes its correct. |

Hey FOXCOIN creators wish you would of listened to me at the beginning this is a flop no one will waste their hashing power to make a small amount of coins per day. I am moving my 6 MHS away
All you had to do was raise the block reward amount. Think about it no one wants to mine a coin when they hold 100 after hours of mining theres no point we can't profit off it unless it goes to an exchange at a hugely overpriced value which is wont based on coins in comparison with BTC.

Later this coin had potential but am bored of wasting 6MHS and getting no coins ugh
lame argument,... What Noobs like you don't understand is if there are no miners with larger hashing power mining a coin it will not make it. You may consider us to be pump and dump type guys but we aren't all that way. I hold stakes in all coins i mine and have a policy to hold them for a minimum of 3 months. When there is no net hashing power and it is all comprised of smaller miners the coin will not have enough in circulation for an exchange to take it seriously let alone add it to their exchange as their is no profitability for them. They make money on transactions by taking a fee. It's all relative and to further my argument "whales" as you like to put it are the ones who pay alot of money to have high hashing power which in turn has associated costs i.e. initial equipment and running costs like hydro etc etc. We have to allocate our resources to where a profit can be made, which doesn't mean pump and dump means trade coins to pay off these costs. Look at DOGE their payouts per block and amount of coins and i guarantee it is higher than fox will ever get. Good luck 1 - This is not a personal coutermeasure against you. It's just one way to prevent pump and dump. 2 - " whales as you like to put it " Don't go saying i say thing that i dont. I never used "whale". 3 - Calling me a noob, while you are just behaving like a spoiled child. Thank you, please do move on and miss on some potential,... |
