I would say it's possible, but looking at general trends of what time the largest trades happen at, if it is going to happen today/tomorrow, my money is on on about 10-12 hours from now.

Darkcoin Passes Security Review, Prepares to Open Source[/u]
 
Investors have responded favorably to the ongoing progress being made in the Darkcoin crypto-currency, causing a rally of 86% over the last week. Security researcher Kristov Atlas has concluded the first part of his audit of Darkcoin. He concluded that Darkcoin's claims of functional anonymity are well-founded. He did suggest several minor attack vectors which could be exploited, as well as one fairly major one (the so-called "Sybil Attack").
 
The lead developer of Darkcoin, Evan Duffield, was already working on an updated version of Darkcoin called Release Candidate 5 (RC5), which will be released September 22. I'm thoroughly enjoying the fact that the price of DRK does not currently reflect that we are near open source AND will likely have instant transactions. 

The buy opportunities of the last few weeks will likely never be seen again.  I hope most of you were strong enough to hold or better yet, continue to accumulate.

The 'sell the news' aspect of the 'buy the rumor, sell the news' phrase might be a hefty one after Evan releases his paper. IMO.

Possibly.  But if his instant transactions solution is elegant, I think not.  Coupled with RC5 and open source, I'm liking how things are shaping up.  Anymore pullbacks are simply opportunity to add to positions.

What do you guys think about the decrease of Bitcoin price just as we are getting ready for our big boom? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? It's a bad thing since price of DRK is hurt by Bitcoin decrease in price, but could it possibly help shift mainstream's attention to DRK? Thoughts?

Usually it's the opposite. When Bitcoin goes down, so does everything else. It's not being tied to Bitcoin's price which is a good thing.
