Unknown doesn't mean one pool, it's just unidentified miners. As for the orphans, enforcement is on (at least looks that way) so anyone not on the latest protocol, paying the appropriate mn percentage will have their blocks orphaned.

you still wouldnt be able to tell who did what

What you folks don't seem to realise is that it doesn't matter. It's a minority tech. The time to push it was 18 months ago when there was a genuine challenge on Bitcoin's technical approach (i.e. when your dev team was busy flogging mining furniture, writing pizza reviews and generally having this whole agenda pass them by).

Now priorities have consolidated. The whole world's tooling up with Bitcoin tech, APIs, hardware wallets, mobile features, explorers - you name it and your gonna turn up at the party with.....Cryptonote !  Shocked

If formula one teams used 'cryptonote' logic they'd turn up with a double decker bus and extra fuel tanks then trash all the other teams for having 'crap' cars that needed a pit stop.  Tongue

Half of them are waiting for zerocash so they can jump ship.

nano .dash/debug.log will open it in your basic text editor. You can also tail -f it. If you know what you are looking for you can grep it.

Just got a nice fat MN payment.  Hashrate is low.

Whoa this is odd.. I have the masternode android app which shows payments so I got a notification of a 3.1dash payment.  I go to ninja site and I can't find it anywhere.  Not on blockchain.  I refresh the app and got another notification saying 3.1 removed.  Isn't that strange?  Especially that blocks were paying 3.1 at the time.

My other node just got paid, but now it's showing correctly on ninja site.  Is it possible my first node payment was part of an rejected or orphaned block?

If I knew the command to see them I would read them, I don't know linux haha. What's the command?

Personally, I use winscp which gives me a gui explorer, go into my /home/me/.dash folder and double click on my debug.log.

But a pure command line way would require an editor, I like nano (hopefully it's installed already for you) and I simply go:

nano .dash/debug.log

But it can be a seriously huge file and in the command line, you have to scroll with the down button or something.

Anyway, that's two ways to do it.  NOte the command I posted is if you're just outside the directory, ie, in your home folder.

tail -f debug.log is an invaluable command, displays the most recent in the log file and updates in real time  Smiley

Later folks... Im off to Vancouver.   So keep these idiots on ice for me.  Lol.  I have to admit... Seeing their name pop up all the time I feel an actual attachment.  It's like the annoying brother some of us have... If I was in a bar or pub with them and they got into it... Id probably back them up.  It's like almost family... Almost.  Wink  Cheers everyone.

Ok, what have you been drinking there at the airport?

...

I'm putting up 30 early this week with https://node40.com I'll let you all know how it goes, it was their project that mostly made me decide to go more all in so soon Tongue

Edit: the coins have already been bought, today and yesterday, so don't expect any mass buy, I wanted to do that fast, now I will get back to waiting for any low bulk buying ops, there was a nice sell wall near spot on Cryptsy earlier but I managed to resist, lets see what Monday brings Smiley

These are the new MN addies btw, should be earning rewards in a few days, 30 MN addies all with their 1,000 DASH VIN ready to go:

It's weird, I'm on the pacific coast, and at this time of day, nobody's on.  I't 9PM, so I guess everyone is going to bed (it's a week day after all) and the sun is still up in Hawaii or anywhere west of there, so they're probably working/going home.  It takes a while for people to start talking again, and it gets lonely Sad  LOL
