Ultimately, there aren't many coins exchanging hands.  Any real volume, and the price will rise again like it recently did.

couple of things are certainly at play.  If you look at the charts, most of the top coins IE btc, LTC , DASH and Bitshares are on a very similar path, so one could certainly say its the usual crypto cycle...the rest would be holders that have decided to go and ride the wave on some for the popular pnd coins to make some more bucks....and there would also be profit takers ....that bought at $2.50 to $3.00 and saw a good raise and are taking some profits. Personally I see this leveling off at just over $3 before starting to climb again.  the availability of DASH is super thin....there are alot of masternode operators as well. thats my Honest opinion.  So with all this above information, tight supply availability and the continual methodical coin development....this should be around $15+ by summer. if there is to come up a large retailer or business promoting Dash...well...then things could change, fast!

I'd suggest seriously investigating trademark on the DASH word mark with a reverse C.  

The logo should be fine. But you can avoid so many complications with trademark notices, disputes, etc if you go for something very novel that still represents the objective of using dash for mass adoption.
