Would also like to say that if anyone here that is a "long timer" with CHC or is admin/dev that would like to assist in getting a pool up and

running, I have a Dell R410 server (Windows 2008 ) that can be used. I believe it is at least efficient enough to put up a P2 pool, if not a traditional one.

I can grant server access to whomever volunteers, if holding my hand is too tedious. Please PM me if interested, thanks.

I'll see if I can't get someone to setup a pool.  I tried but I can't get the chaincoin hash to work with MPOS and I don't have time to figure it out.

I asked the SuperNova guy if he could setup a pool.  In the meantime I'll work on a P2P pool.

C11 GPU and CPU miners are linked in the OP.   Here are the connection strings to pool mine.

sgminer

sgminer.exe --kernel chaincoin -o stratum+tcp://chc.suprnova.cc:1039 -u youruser.name -p yourpassword -I 18 -g 4 -w 128 --lookup-gap 4 -s 1 --queue 1 -E 15

cpuminer

32 bit
minerd64 -a chain -o stratum+tcp://chc.suprnova.cc:1039 -u youruser.name -p yourpassword

BTW there is an Nvidia specific miner available, if that is your "flavor"  https://ayarscloud.tonidoid.com/urlyz41br  this link is from http://cudamining.co.uk/url/releases  and the command sequence is  nvMiner.exe -a c11 -o stratum+tcp://chc.suprnova.cc:1039 -u youruser.name -p yourpassword
This is best for gtx750 ti but works with others using compute 3-5 I believe , 750ti hashrate around 2500kh

Well there's a mining pool and a block explorer.  A few people are mining.  Coin still lives.

What's next?

dev has gone~ Grin

Dev hasn't gone, he is still active at bitcointalk with (at least) the following accountnames:

"johnjoule" (joulecoin)
"maxguevara" (Quark and mimiccoin)
"redkendra" (skeincoin)
"Willowrosenberg" (sockpuppet account)

And these are just the ones I could find easily (except willow , willow was found by somebody else.) Cheesy
most probably if you search harder, you will find many many more...

Chaincoin seems indeed inactive, developer is still active at btc talk with  among others in my previous post mentioned accountnames: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422149.msg10426380#msg10426380
