There are numbers of fake coins in the market.It becomes difficult to judge that which coin is better. So, one should go only for project based coins.

The only things I might add is that "use a different password" isn't limited to exchanges, but applies to forums, emails, and even pools , and that some antivirus heuristics seem to hate anything that has mining code in it and isn't explicitly whitelisted.

The password can easily be stolen. Therefore, I use two-factor authentication on all sites where used money and important information.

You are right, sometimes people enter a private key instead of a public key when registering. What else to say.

Some of the new projects I'm seeing are some of the sketchiest. Mostly because you don't know what they are putting in the wallets. I recommend anyone to not install any random crypto wallets in environments were they store privatekeys of their main wallets.

There are lots of alternative wallets, mostly wallets that are connected to blockchain as well, some wallets offer their own currency of their country, with this said, alt wallets will be able to convert btc onto their own corresponding currency, and some alt wallets offer you more security, I don't think that all alt wallets have the ability to do this, but for the sake of your bitcoins choose the wallet that will offer you security and legitimacy, this is important, especially if you are holding a huge amount of btc, take care.
