Nice advices you gave. 7 years left, but it is still actual. As for malware attack, you should check it only if you download client on your PC. On other cases there is no any potential danger

I think it is vital to have more developed technologies better than to Blockchain, but as it took more than a decade for bringing out Blockchain, we have to understand that it is also better to work in improving Blockchains rather than trying to start completely a new one.

Because, as you build more, every system will have to be dealt with separately and resolve their individual issues for improvement. So it better to put a collective effort as it is happening now as a group.

If you have taken all the security precautions on the computer where you work, you can still lose your crypto money in my opinion by using a second computer and not using it for other businesses except to buy this second computer crypto could be an alternative. I work this way as well as using alternative blocks

And if you put a defense? For example 2FA and others. Will it help save the crypto money? Not using another computer?

Gavin, it's very good that you talk about such an important topic.
Blockchain is a new technology, of course, there are certain shortcomings in it.
However, I believe that the future is for her. And we are doing everything right, that we are investing our resources in the development of this technology.

It's amazing how this is still so relevant nowadays. It was originally posted in 2011 and yet I'd say that now it's more relevant than ever before. We have so many new projects going on and most of them are far from reliable. Doing this type of 1.0.1 research before putting any funds in or advertising a project is just fundamental.
Anyway, I feel like although the crypto space is getting wiser and investors become more prudent, there is still a gap that needs to be fulfilled for a real crypto-adoption to occur, no matter which blockchain would be used.

Thank you for sharing the useful. I used to participate in airdrop token, but then my computer was infected with the virus. Then I learned a lot to protect my account from links to phishing projects
I have known bitcoins since 2008, but now I see the value of it, too many people want to own it in the world. Now I do not have enough money to own a BTC

Thanks for the Good advice.

The only things I might add is that "use a different password" isn't limited to exchanges, but applies to forums, emails, and even pools Wink , and that some antivirus heuristics seem to hate anything that has mining code in it and isn't explicitly white listed. Using an alternate crypto currency client would be a great way to get many people to install a hidden virus that targets Bitcoin users.
