CPU-Mining: Note: Use binary miners with caution. I'd suggest building your own miner using source code.
Solo Mining:
minerd -a quark -o http://your-NetII-qt-wallet-ip:rcpport/ -u rpcusername -p rpcpassword --no-stratum --no-longpoll The default rpcport is 27890. And for solo mining, usually you run your wallet on your own machine so the ip address is 127.0.0.1. GPU-Mining: SPH-SGMINERSample netcoin2.conf: If you want to run the netcoin2d-daemon which gives access to RPC commands you should install a netcoin2.conf file. Make sure the file is not world-readable - your netcoin2 installation needs only reading access. A basic netcoin2.conf could look like this: rpcuser=rpcuser rpcpassword=replaceThisWithALongPasswordWithSomeDigits server=1 daemon=1 checklevel=2 addnode=103.24.0.208 addnode=113.16.207.25 addnode=117.28.36.195 addnode=220.173.253.69 addnode=113.7.112.228 addnode=222.172.0.24 addnode=180.143.255.137 addnode=180.142.184.175 addnode=180.138.176.159 addnode=199.188.178.180 addnode=90.157.19.238

Is this coin going to be an easy meat for botnets since it's a CPU coin?

The linux link is the source http://192.3.108.92/netcoin2.tar.gz (actually contains no binaries) Aside from usual stuff needed by most other coins (boost, qt ... ) you need here also libqrencode-dev (in debian/ubuntu distros, in other distros the package would have similar name...) ... or alternatively just rip the QR feature out

When I launched the client, only 500 coins were generated (well, I noticed a bit late, took me 2 mins to start downloading and 5 more mins to compile... so someone was faster than me) Smelter does not work (well, no way to pay royalties across coin types, I guess , wonder how tough it would be for someone with CG/Cuda experience to make a proper GPU miner. Technically it is just 6 hash types, so should not probably be that hard

Nice looking client, Client says network hashrate at 0, nice feature, but is it working? I am mining with the client(I think) with just my laptop but that's some hash power. Is anybody finding any blocks? Thanks Donation address: NdyAZTjsxaAyM7VzEBRZvtkeXmmoyJtvjQ

We are contacting pool operators, and I just set up a 0.1 BTC bounty for the first mining pool!
