Wow this is gonna be worth more than MOONcoin for sure. if you take RPC's current price, and divide it equally by the difference in supply, you'll get a price of about 0.17 BTC each. If you compare it to Bitcoin, it should be 100, but even if its 1000 times less, it's still 0.1 BTC. Not surprised if we see anything higher post exchange. Exciting coin! Probably more to the moon than moon coin love the distant galaxy take haha i laugh at people selling for .04 or less THERE ARE PEOPLE DOING THAT? SELL THEM TO ME It's really not a bad choice. They aren't anywhere near that cost to mine and I'd rather not wait to get closer to the 30th to see what happens with China and BTC. I'm gonna sell all of mine and put my money in fiat until things get sorted out politically. Use Bitfinex and short sell your Bitcoins if you think that's gonna happen. Instead of selling into USD!

OFFICIAL UPDATE ON http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO AND EARLY COINSSo due to the concerns expressed in this thread regarding http://astropool.co/ and termination of operations, I have contacted the creator of Astropool.co and he has informed me that when Astrocoin mining started at 12 A.M. UTC Jan. 22nd after a public announce on our IRC channel and here on Bitcointalk forum, the difficulty was very low, and several people jumped on board. The pool was unable to handle the traffic and there were several bugs. As of right now, the pool has shut down, everyone has been paid out in full and the site is still alive for anyone to go and withdraw their balances. Another concern many expressed was that there was an instamine right after launch of the mining pools. Up till the launch we mined 3100 blocks, however within a few minutes of the pool launch, the total blocks jumped to over 4500. The developer has notified me that there has been some unfair manipulation and that the pool did not reward those 1015 block coins to anyone. Taking this into consideration, we have successfully requested ASTROPOOL.CO to return the Astrocoins that were not tied/linked to any account during the massive mine at 0.07 difficulty. We have confiscated those coins and have stored them away in a cold wallet that is encrypted and offline. Those coins will never hit and exchange and we are posting the URL to those coins publicly for all to keep an eye on. http://cryptexplorer.com/address/GTmuyDuDMZovXH4ZjK8xh8kwCKcCsMPJhC

For now the link is public and those coins aren't going anywhere without notice

how bout a giveaway for the extra premined coins, and a donation to the exchange. i'm having a hard time justifying its placing if you are just gonna dump all the premine for profit.

When did they ever mention they were going to dump all the extra premined coins for profit? Plus they already suggested that it be used for a giveaway. You don't have to justify anything.

Nice! 11,500 kh = 12 Astrocoins per day (current diff) 12 coins @ cheapest rate at 0.044 BTC = 0.528 BTC 0.528 BTC = $498 at current MtGox rate Get those coins before this is listed on CoinWarz - and the great unwashed join in on this action One thing I don't quite understand is difficulty retarget is meant to be every day (24h?). Seen as though coin is less than 24 hours old - why is the diff at 18 already?
