Pre-Ann was never edited to include premine, it had it from the beginning, as well said the launch was 5h earlier but we announced it on Twitter and on bitcointalk exactly at 12:00am UTC, the pool did not mine pre-release because release was at 12:00 am UTC not 5a.m. UTC. We changed the launch and everyone on twitter, bitcointalkforum, and IRC was notified. All a bunch of trolls spreading this garbage.

Are you serious? Why don't you just delete all the anti-astrocoin posts in this thread? I read it.

1. People are screaming "1.5% Premine Scam". Why should they do this, when it is officially 2.2%?
2. 8 hours before the official start date, people are asking, when is the real start date. Because on the website was a countdown with les sthan 3hours. A guy called bakedrice (afterwards a big advocate of the coin says confidently, it is still 5am, not 5 hours earlier).
altcoinguides calls himself as dev and claims, the start is on 5am.

So you fucked it up! Effectily a premine of 4.5%

This coin is a scam! 4.5% where already mined at the time of the announced and official start!!

This is NOT a self-moderated topic, you cannot just delete posts. We did this in the means to be completely transparent, unlike some of the other coins you may support

#1 There was a Pre-Mine of 2.2%, stop changing your numbers up.

#2 Launch was earlier and time was changed in advance on Website, Bitcointalk, announced officially on twitter and #astrocoin IRC room

We have even updated people on this already:

Due to the concerns all of you guys had regarding why we launched our pools at 12:00a.m. UTC, our wallets at 1:30a.m. UTC instead of at the planned time of 5a.m. UTC, we felt the need to directly address these concerns to reassure you in Astrocoin. First of all, to all the accusations out there that this early pool launch was somehow an "inside job" or was only for the "inside" people is utter and complete nonsense. In fact, we tweeted exactly 1 hour before we launched the pools that we would do so, the tweet can be found here: https://twitter.com/ASRCoin/status/425764202620280833

Up till that point, a little less than 1.5% of total supply (less than 3100 coins) were pre-mined. At 12 a.m. UTC, we notified the IRC channel on irc.altcoinweb.com #astrocoin and we updated the bitcointalk forum thread here, but it now appears not many paid attention. There were over 30 miners after the first minute of launch and it was a fair start, if you want confirmation, step into the IRC room and verify for yourself. The wallets were soon released 1.5h later at 1:30am UTC. We do understand your concerns and we are sorry for not being transparent enough, but under the given circumstances of that time, we were forced to launch the coin sooner than the initial given launch time. We believe in Astrocoin and our faith remains in it. We've reached a total network hashrate of over 500MH/s within the first few hours of launch, with hundreds of miners and thousands of wallet downloads. We are in the works with some very exciting projects with several people and will be launching services and site where you can use your Astrocoins. We are in the talks with several exchanges and plan to be publicly tradable in the near future looking forward in the next few weeks. We apologize once again if there was any misunderstanding of our intentions or if we caused you to doubt in us. We thank you for all your continued support and we look forward in patience and hope to the very exciting days ahead of us.

The website had the right release time, however it was localizing the countdown in people's local timezones which caused further confusion. Premine was only 2.2%, you cannot call it a pre-mine when pools are announced publicly on bitcointalk, twitter, IRC, and call that a pre-mine. Taking the ANNOUNCED early launch into consideration, pre-mine was only 2.2%. I believe we have addressed all issues regarding this several times before and we will not be re-visiting this issue again.

hm yeah,
1. You say it was a fair start, because you announced 5am, but 6 hours before that you shifted the start to 0am on an IRC channel, which no one uses. A guys called him a dev said at 10pm, the start will be 8 hours later.
2. In the first post there is still 5am. STILL!
3. 3100 blocks are 2.2 premine, not 1.5% like you quoted yourself. Ok, you changed that in the starting post.
4. At 0 UTC you had your 3100 premine and blocks were created. Not one in 3 min, 20 in one min. Because of the ridiculous low diff and retarget only after one day.

In my opinion there are two option:
1. Scam
2. Incompetence. Because 5am UTC and 0am EAT is the same time. This can be confusing, right?

Perhaps you should get your facts right, 2.2% premine, not 4.5%, 3100 blocks were mined until the launch at Jan. 22nd 12:00a.m. UTC.

and the next 3000 were stolen to all miners with your astropool.co scam. Didn't know convenient amnesy was renamed "facts" recently

3000 weren't even mined on Astropool.co. The rest of the blocks were found on http://asr.hashhunt.in/ which was up just 30 minutes after the launch of the coin, Astropool.co was not the main pool for more than the first 15 - 30 min.

Of the 1015 that were not paid out on Astropool.co we've already announced a fair payback if you haven't read already: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=425367.msg4700064#msg4700064

We've had enough of you trolls, you're not welcome in here.

. That first 15 mn window is hilarious considering you launched hours in avance & the astropoolscam lasted some HOURS
. not to mention most couldn't even register the first minutes, getting  "token invalid" responses.
. I've had enough of you liars & thieves, but eh, each one is own...

http://asr.cryptopools.com has no manual payout, also the contact form doesnt work.

manual payout took a 0.1 ASR fee before which i find quite high considering smalltimers like myself will take 5 days to get 1 coin.

maybe admin can reply to clear this up.

YES IM SAYING IT:  (UNTIL I GET MY COINS)  THEY'RE A FUCKING SCAM.

im here: http://astrocoinpool.com/
no fees:)

GW5A84ixvmgMJpaeVAywiBzAJvauTk5zYf

OMG... Bullshit! now 1% fee??? no no no!

im back to http://asr.hashhunt.in

Do you think servers are for free and that everyone running a pool does this just so that you can earn money? Do you go to McDonalds and start screaming about the fact that they need to get paid in order to be able to serve you their food?

Personally I admire those who manage to set up pools and run them without any fee, but I always choose pools that has a fee since I know that they make a profit from running the pool and they will do what they can to keep it going because of this.

If you don't want to pay for the things you want, try setting up a pool yourself and see for yourself how easy and cheap it is to run one...

When mining astrocoin at coin-base.info things have just gone pear shaped,

I am getting this error in the command prompt window.

stratum_subscribe timed out.

And on the POOL workers and dashboard, I have no active workers anymore.

I can only do CPU, no graphics card. I have about 0.017 Astrocoin so far.

If anyone has any crumbs to spare.

GS91WLv57VHc2UuJFvm6VuWd6e1uKuUmFC

Does anyone know what that error message is telling me?

What happened at coin-base.info
