Because of the extremely high difficulty at 46, and the extremely low hashrate, confirmations for transactions are currently taking a very long time. We need more miners to process the transaction faster. Please post in other places, create new threads. Thank you. We need more pools as well.

Maybe use some of the premine for more promotion to get more hashrate
and a bounty to create the new windows qt  Huh ..just a thought.

edit: because that's what it is there for right?  and even at current value slipping the current premine value is over $40,000.

edit2:  If there was no premine it would fall on the community to do the things you request,
but with the premine that is your job.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State BlockNet can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State BlockNet to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State BlockNet.” - Joseph Goebbels

Noblecoin did a promotion where they gave the finder of every 100th block 10K and 1000 every 1000th block. Obviously this coin can't give out a reward that big, and 100 blocks are too far spaced out, but a similar setup would help! They aimed for around 1 reward an hour.
There network hash tripled in 3 days of promotions, and that's what got them onto an exchange =)

Keep on mining! Let the coins flow and the difficulty rocket. We are building back up on coinedup. Hopefully by next week we will have other exchanges to trade ASR on at higher support levels so we won't have to deal with craptsy's autistic stepchild coinedup.

Support now clearly .02 - no sales of volume made anywhere under .02 since release on coinedup.

Majority of volume over .03. .03 could easily be new support if coinedup hits a new exchange or more news is revealed regarding merchant adoption.

140k coins at ~$20 is ~$2.8 mil. 2.8 is ridiculous - with strong comm support and proper adoption this coin is looking at an easy $20 mil half mined. These are very conservative figures that I am presenting after studying several other alts. So half mined - 70k coins = $20m minimum = ~$280 per ASR.

My point is that these coins are easily worth over .1 BTC - easily.

The rapid deflation strategy behind the coin is great in numbers but in the real world this alt coin would require enormous amounts of community support and commercial adoption to succeed. Enormous amounts - this is because due to the difficulty progression of this coin the mining profits would drop considerably during dump cycles of the coin - the profits would be so low that bandwagon miners would immediately abandon it.

This alt maybe an outlier amisdt the recently launched alts. Early bagholders may see lots of success.

Lets make some $$

Possible catalysts in the short term:

coinmarketcap
cryptotrade
coinex
cryptsy

long term:

bter.com
btc38.com

Why will ASR hit so many exchanges/services?: ASR has already experienced over 80 BTC in buy volume after 36 hours on coinedup. 80 BTC buy volume - on coinedup?? That is quite remarkable - coinedup is a shithole and ASR managed to mark 80 on it. This 80 just gives you a glimpse of the fees that ASR can generate due to its high valuation. Of course the factor of launch also boosted up ASR trading but see less than 500 coins were traded in the first hour - imagine what craptsy would experience in trading fees with ASR hitting and thousands of ASR's traded. = BANK$$. ASR will soon be worth more than LTC and when introduced into new markets will provide MASSIVE fee payouts

We will see a higher support level as ASR reaches each of the checkpoints above. From .03 to .05 to .1. Once it touches down on Cryptsy it may very well go above .2.

Miners - Dont be dumbasses and dump your single digit coins.
Early investors - Try not to day trade this until it hits a more streamlined and competent exchange. Please, you're hurting the growth of the coin. The devs were slow on forking the chain and made the pools go offline - stupid mistake but that has driven away over 60% of the miners who were present over 24 hours ago. Miner incentive is lowered due to increased difficulty that was created during the hours of .04 btc trading.
