It's heard to judged by the ratio. But, Bitcoin is the most influensive crypto currency which has influence on the price of other coins including ethereum and different altcoins. If the price increases the price of altcoins also increases and vice-versa. This is why bitcoin is told to be the best among all crypto currencies.

I think that the closest Altcoin relationship is Ethereum! Most of them are attached to Ethereum, and Bitcoin is the earliest cryptocurrency. Its representation is even stronger!

I would agree, altcoins market usually had an impact regarding the price movement of btc. Every fluctuations of btc affects majority of the altcoins and that is what usually happens every now and then. Bitcoin and altcoins are correlated with the other wherein any price movement affects everything meaning they are directly proportional with each other. My thoughts.

Bitcoin is the king crypto so its price will certainly have effect on other altcoins. And till now we have seen that when the price of bitcoin starts falling, the price of other coin also falls. So special care should be taken on the growth of bitcoin.

not all altcoins have an impact on BTC prices. to my knowledge only top 10 altcoins only. because when the price of BTC down / up is usually a lot of people switch to top 10 altcoins. so that's why the BTC price could impact the top 10 altcoins.
different with altcoin top 50+, BTC price will not have too much impact on altcoin top 50+.

I think altcoins generally related to bitcoin prices, because it's number 1. Suppose if Eth would have overcome bitcoin, then altcoins would be following the prices of ethereum imo. |

I think there is no direct control of bitcoin to other crypto coin, but the relation are always there, however when bitcoin price down it will also affects to the status value of other crypto coins, because all altcoins are depending on bitcoin.
