Jesus, I went to sleep when the price was around 60k Satoshi. Now I am coming back online and see that it peaked around 189k, this is enormous!

There comes to a point though when the coin is so valuable that giving the coin away for free makes no sense. If you give someone something and they just sell it straight away for BTC, then what's the point? Any sort of giving away now would be in the realms of 1 PMC and less.
I disagree that we should ever stop giving.  You just give smaller increments that you're comfortable with.  The more people who have PMC, the better, as that is more fair.

Yes, I do agree with you, but it's about practicality. I can fire up my block rewarder and distribute 100 PMC over a week to miners, but will that even get noticed?

I don't mind continuing to distribute, but I do not have time to sit around handing out fractions of PMC.

I will fire up the block rewarder. I just need to make a few tweaks to the code.

We are shy people here Smiley

Yes, we are Grin Our channel is very quiet! Might be a good place to start? http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=premine

Just checking out setting up a P2Pool.

N.B. - Should update the OP with channel link to IRC? There is already one there, just doesn't auto-fill the channel name.

We need to end the shyness

flood the exchanges and chatrooms forums with PCM this coin needs more attention its too shy for its own good (look at doge they harrased everyone to 270 satoshis) I'm promoting it a lot but mainly to large investors to help take out the sellers who will want to commit  suicide once see this hit $80+

End of the shyness. It is time to spread the word about PMC.

It's not that surprising to me.  If we continue to give away coins as hard as that may be, the price will continue to go up as more people have a stake and considering its rarity.

Thank you very much! Kiss

So basically I need to buy some if I want to have some coins, right? The difficulty of 3775 is correct?

I think I'll buy some. I really love the idea behind the coin although it should be an experiment only Grin

Hi!

Short question: How do you get PMC?

I mean there are people which sell several hundreds of PMC. How did they get them? Smiley

Thanks
Post your wallet address and I'll give you one.  This community is very giving.  We want a VERY WIDE distribution of this coin.

Oh, this seems to be an awesome community. My address: 1Bxke5wWqkaP1piqvCxs74jssC7bmjkbte

But seriously. I want to do something for it so that I maybe can give some coins too Smiley

I know I could mine them so I could get some through TXfees, right?

But:

Quote
{
"version" : 80800,
"protocolversion" : 70001,
"walletversion" : 60000,
"balance" : 0.00000000,
"blocks" : 39136,
"timeoffset" : -1,
"connections" : 4,
"proxy" : "",
"difficulty" : 3775.80751820,
"testnet" : false,
"keypoololdest" : 1392552983,
"keypoolsize" : 101,
"paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
"errors" : ""
}

Difficulty of 3775... really? :O

There was initial distribution at launch, so those who declared their interest early got a stake. Since then coins have been given away to others and handed out by the community. The dev has given away all the coins now. If you read back on the earliest pages of PMC you'll see lots of coins changing hands.

Now that PMC is becoming super valuable and rare, it's harder to find people willing to give them away, because to get coins now costs BTC.

Okay, so I'm to late and have to buy, right? Shit  Cheesy

Whats that? was Sleepless caught napping? hahah

I would wait a day or so to see if the price comes back down. Although it's hard to say if it will, as it's getting harder and harder to buy PMC cheaply now. Anything under 0.001 is a good deal, in my opinion, but maybe wait a day or so and keep an eye on prices. See if you can get a good stake.

But at the moment the price could also go up at any time. I have no idea what's going to happen next. After the price explosion last night anything is possible.

Yeah right. I'll wait and watch. I think I'll place a buy order at 0.0006 with about 100-200 PMC.

...
Sorry for being sceptical, but what's your motivation behind this? Are you just some benevolent rich guy who randomly pushes coins without profit?

Id say I'm the bearer of opportunity

You could say that I'm some benevolent rich guy but just 6 months ago i was living a complete different life i took opportunity to make a lot of money throughout the blatantly predictable corruption of this market ( but not without losing it all once or twice first )..

I Want other beginners to experience the success these pump and dump rich scammers are having everyday by basically stealing from the naive.

I paid more than everyone for these coins since yesterday so i cannot possibly make anyone here lose money unless i lose a lot first, I've already made you all money if you were stupid enough to sell last night and today.

The reason i choose this coin was because if they were given for free then obviously most investors cannot be that well off to accept free coins making easier to buy and feeling good helping other out once i help you all i promise that you will be able to make more money than you've ever made in such a short amount of time

I will not sell until past $80 each and once i have sold you won't even see a change in the market cap by then

Also these prices will not remain this cheap much longer so i advise you buy as much as possible as very soon I'm about to inform some very rich investors so get them cheap right now before the whales come along give it to them at a higher price

how do we mine it if all blocks are out? 3.7k diff? omg

You can still mine Premine; when you transfer coins from your wallet you pay a transaction fee. This small transaction fee ends up in new blocks on the network. The more people who transfer Premine and the busier the network = the higher the block rewards.

I saw block rewards of up to 1 PMC per block yesterday. It's normally lower than that but it depends on how many transactions are in each block. Best thing to do is just aim some ASICs at it and wait until the network gets busy again.

That explains the diff Cheesy

Yep.  Smiley

Premine is a bit like Bitcoin of the future; once all the new coins run out and there are fewer coins in circulation.
