Register at Kraken, then use their tool: https://www.kraken.com/etherYou'll make deposit straight from json file. But remember there's a fee (I don't know exactly how is it calculated). So if you have 100 ETH, transfer i.e. 99.5 ETH, otherwise you'll get an error message. |

is there a road map of releases? Please someone give me an overview of when we will see real updates on this coins? I have over 100k i would possibly put into ETH if i have an idea of where this is headed and how soon. Should i wait for a major dip? will there even be one? why is this thing being so heavily traded with no use as of yet? I hope someone can provide me with insight on each point i just brought to attention. Thanks

stupid question but how does one buy Ethereum ?
You can also buy it off other exchanges like Kraken through usd or other fiat deposits I believe. And as always can be bought with bitcoin through the exchanges. ETH now also added to Cryptsy, no trades yet so far http://worldcoinindex.com/coin/ethereumETh now also on Bittrex |

GETH QUESTION--
I started Geth with the supplied Windows batch file. How long does it take to download the blockchain? How can I tell when the blockchain is completely in place?
I am assuming that the blockchain is still downloading, the console window has text streaming by.
If there is a web document with information, please point me in the right direction. I'd like to set-up and mine ETH, but the blockchain needs to be in place. I have been running Geth close to 18 hours now.

Hi,
I have very high expectations of the concept ethereum, yet what I truly don't get, you have the smartest and most reputable dev team here, yet you can't make a wallet with normal basic functions, you have to have studied IT to transfer coins!? BIG let down with all the money invested in this...

GETH-- Geth is the ETH wallet. Currently it is a console-only application. --scryptr But can I use it on window without any skills? I just want to transfer my eth there. Noob question. Geth can be started with a batch file and no skills. I am assuming that it automatically begins to download the blockchain. I am assuming that the blockchain needs to be completely in place before the user can obtain an address and use the wallet. Use of this wallet, Geth, requires skills.
