Unfortunately Ethereum is not very considerate with non-technical users. If you want to sell your ETH from the presale, you can use this tool from Kraken:
https://www.kraken.com/ether
You'll have to create a Kraken account first. They have some strict rules, you will need to verify to at least Tier 1 to trade cryptos.

If you want to buy, I would advise waiting until the initial frenzy is over, there's a lot of people waiting to dump their ETH bought in ICO, as soon as they figure out how to do it...

just looked now. i sent 2 tx which went nowhere as they were my mistake. but i sent 8.159 eth from 0x3b7ce4d16316f594a3c5ebb7ccc4c022fc2858c6 (my account) to 0x991258bf0ff212b55adeea674f1715499c4fb9d6

but under the to section on block explorer i get 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

also another problem i am having is when using alethzero client to try to mine solo i get this error when i go online with the client:

i have portforwarded my modem and set my pc time to automatic. im doing nothing different to my friends but mine does not work.  is there any dependancies that i may need that they have and i dont?  im using a fresh install of windows 10

also my blockchain in the client is allways 1 block behind.

At this point i really don't know. Sold half my ETH and saving the other half. There's plenty of promising projects where the coin was pumped at the start and then brought down all the way to (and below) the IPO value (0.0005 in this case).
I do believe that ETH will rise eventually (if it stays stable and the DEV team doesn't f*ck up), but for now I would say wait it out for a couple of weeks, you might get a good bargain below 0.001 even.

Of course!, all the features available right now can be done on the Geth, in fact some of them are only possible there.
