etherchain.org thinks that ethpool.org is on the right fork, and nanopool.org is on the wrong one. I'm afraid choice will be made in favor of the biggest pool.

According to coinmarketcap the coin has had a maximal coin amount of around 60 mln some days ago. Today it is around 72 mln. What is the truth?

The right chain is the one here : https://etherchain.org/

Fix: Re-installation of the geth client using the PPA, the brew bottle “brew reinstall ethereum” or windows direct download. If you are building from source make sure you are on commit

60 million was the pre-sale with 0.2 ETH donated to the dev team for every 1 ETH sold.

60million + 12 million = 72 million total eth

Its mineable now so add 29K coins each day from Frontier launch.

Breakdown of the 12M ETH being distributed now. (This is still part of the original 72 million ETH from genesis)

6M to 86 early contributors
3M to ~40 devs (they had to purchase the ETH)
3M to the Foundation.

I made my first purchase of ETH and got my money back and a little bit of profit in 1 hour. It seems ETH is growing fast.

Are you still holding or did you sell? Because I have a feeling we're not stopping. Smiley

Is there a paper wallet address generator for Ethereum. Just bought some and want to get them from the exchange without installing the client.

Network conformation is increased to 12 hours (for some time, i think). So payments require up to 12 hours to appear in blockchain.
Look here for more information from DEV:
