Looks like we have found the floor here! Price is trending back up. We should test the new ATH by end of next week.

I don't think a floor has yet been established. I think the downtrend will still continue but we won't drop below 60 cents.

Is there any GUI wallet that works like other wallets?I mean to just install it and run it.Like Bitcoin Core wallet. With build in node.
The Mac binary comes bundled with both Ethereum nodes - Geth and Eth, Geth is working out of the box even if you never installed it.
The 64 bit Windows version comes with Geth node included and so you just need to start the wallet. The 32 bit windows and linux versions will require you to install and run either Geth or Eth node separately.

you might be right if there was no Microsoft deal. But with Microsoft on board, it will do better than that.

I kinda did include the Microsoft deal in my thinking. Anyhow I think the price will drop maybe around 250k but not much lower.

https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases/tag/0.3.1-beta.1

I take the same error: "Couldn't start an Ethereum node! Are you already running anode? Make sure your IPC path is set to the default: $ geth --ipcpath/Users/Me/Library/Etherem/geth.ipc"

What i have to do? And i think there is a newer version of this wallet 0.3.2 https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases/tag/v0.3.2-beta.2

In windows version it works. I don't have any problem. The only problem is in Mac version.

The price of bitcoin is determined by the ICO coin holders and the developers. If they keep on dumping, the price will go lower. The floor could be around $0.3.

Microsoft Integrates Ethereum in Azure. Is IBM Next?
http://forklog.net/microsoft-integrates-ethereum-in-azure-is-ibm-next/

If Microsoft and IBM get into the Ethereum scene, then we would see a massive impact and the project and the foundation itself. Just imagine these big companies developing decentralized applications based on Ether, that would be huge. I wonder how would Windows look like with its integration with Ethereum. Maybe you would need Ether in order to run Windows or its apps. This is something interesting... Roll Eyes

Ah, Microsoft has a history of killing alternative platforms....I would be leery of anything Microsoft takes interest in because their intentions are either to steal it or kill it, historically speaking.

Do you think the opening of the London meeting will attract more Ethereum supports and drive up the price? That meeting is very important though.

Hi Guys,

Having 2+ years of experience we have built a stable environment for our mining pools. All our stratum servers are DDoS protected on IP level (not just CloudFlare web protection) and we have highly scalable environment (we can expand capacity in less than hour). Our Ethereum pool is working well and we have 99,5%+ efficiency however we would like to get more share in ETH pool market.

Starting from today we completely removed pool fee (its 0% now and will remain 0% for all users who will join our pool till end of this year) so its only one single step to start mining - create an account, set up auto payout and have fun mining. Our payouts are running every 60 seconds so you dont have to wait a day to receive your coins.

https://www2.coinmine.pl/eth/

If you have any questions - please ask.

Cheers,
feeleep

The same scam coin as Bitcoin back to 2009,right? And now you see where the Bitcoin is. We hear the same words all the time scam coin, scam, fraud and other bullshit. A coin with 75 million $ market cap and 1.5 million $ in 24 volume (it was more some days ago) can't be scam. Vitalik created the coin and Ethereum technologie. The success of the coin depends of the community, like Bitcoin. I don't think Nakamoto built all this Bitcoin ecosystem. Nakamoto creates the coin and the technologie and he gave them to the people.
If you think that Ethereum is scam, stay away. But don't come here some years later and cry like a baby because you lost another chance to buy coins when they were cheap like now.

You can run it on an offline* computer. If it is safe to use online I cannot tell.

* Apparently there is the possibility to use it (the paper wallet functionality) offline:
"For generating wallets, you can download the source code (https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet)  by using the "DOWNLOAD ZIP" button in the aforementioned link. Then, disconnect your computer from the internet and / or move that .zip file via flash drive to an air-gapped computer. Or, do whatever you want to do. Unzip the file, double-click on "index.html", and you have the exact same thing happening on your air-gapped computer (or whatever). You can now generate wallets on that computer without fear that we are stealing you heart and soul and first-born child. (Obviously, sending transactions is not going to work without the internet. Sorry!)"
