Ethereum looks pretty awesome, smart contract will be implemented in New York financial system, let us hold for 3 years. And you will see the price after next bitcoin's halving. ETH=MOON=0.05+ BTC
The trust scores you see are subjective; they will change depending on who you have in your trust list.

I know the PoS phase is going to start, but does this mean that the PoW will end? if so, when is this going to happen and what are going to be the market effects?

This release brings a few stability fixes along with a feature that allows queuing transactions that are activated and send out on selected date or block number.

ETHF miners will switch mining ETHC blockchain.

ETC mining profits will plummet like a rock .. and the power will be spread out.

GPU mining will take a hard blow.. probably mostly lose its profitability vs power.

yes eventually pow will end because eth is a must to switch to pos.. When the time have come.. every transaction (in each block) is going to be 3x faster, which means every dapps is going to be mined very fast. For example: one problem for gambling dapps right now is we have to wait for 1minutes or so to get the result, but when pos is happening it will just take seconds to get results. Additionally, of course there is more benefits in other aspects (for ex: security)

For market effects, in my personal opinions it will be a huge stepping stone for eth. When it is going to be happen? i guess no one can ever give you a specific date... but it will happen within a year.

ETH miners will switch mining ETHC blockchain.

A good portion of eth miners will.  I bet equal portions mine DCR, XMR, and ZEC.  Ethereum already fills the need that ETC fills, and has a more widely used blockchain and stronger network.  Other coins offer other features though.

(...)
The consortium could speed up development of these features and make more companies comfortable with Ethereum. That, in turn, could push Ethereum ahead of other blockchains in popularity and use.

they indicate sufficient scalability in current values and is it enough to work after such news, or the consortium will carry out these actions in the future? after all, we're not talking about 100,000 tx per minute
