I replaced the SSD and now try to synchronize my wallet again. The problem is that it can't be synchronized for 2 days.
Here's how:

What do I have to do to see my coins again in my wallet?
Is there a way like Monroe to use remote nodes, because the database is about 100GB?

Geth - allows pruning on initial sync only - after this it is full blockchain.

Parity - allows constant pruning - keeps the last 64 states.

EthereumJ (Java) - allows pruning.

Eth (C++) - no pruning.

PyEthApp (Python) - no pruning.

Obviously, use the system that suits the limitations of your hardware and use case scenario.

Try, posting your question on a more technical forum - nobody knows here knows why you're having a problem. Other than, you apparently need to use the full blockchain.

Some are bearish and they say that we're in a bulltrap and eth will go to $250 or under $300 anyway, but I see a lot of bullish TAs. Personally (not based on TA) I think we touched the bottom and we go for a bull run (especially in may)

You sound as if you exactly know why the price grew. If you think you know next direction in price, advice us, the mortals and try to guess what the price will be in two days at this hour.

Hello, I have some technical questions:

1) Is it possible to make ETH baset token that could be sold in order to get founds to start some business? (like crowdfunding)
2) If Yes than how can it be done?
3) If You create such token - how can You "sell" it to rise the founds?
4) If You create such token, can You Pay interest in future (for example every month) based on how many tokens did somebody bought?


I would greatly appreciate answers on those questions and/or maybe some links / tutorials - or maybe I could just contact with someone and speak with him about that?

From my observations of events.

The price should remain unsettled from two causes:

a) Bitcoins fluctuation in valuation, which is caused by Bitmain's order of 12nm ASICs chips for SHA algorithm. The whole question of when will Bitmain offer these to all their customers gets answered.

That will cause price fluctuations in Bitcoin valuation, which will cause fluctuations in Ethereum's price for 3-4 months.

b) Complications from the launch of ASICs for Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm (used by Ethereum Network), which could for last 5/6 months.

Basically, at moment GPU hash power is getting rebalanced across the GPU coins, by medium-sized GPU mining businesses, who swing across from GPU algorithm to algorithm according to spikes in demand for a particular GPU coin by investors, which helps to ensure investor demand is fulfilled at reasonable prices for any particular GPU coin.

Because, of the Bitmain Antminer E3, it appears that prices may start to get equalized to ASIC levels, and that may cause a lot of negative or ill feeling towards the Ethereum Network from all those other GPU coin communities, which is going to result in a lot of unhelpful or negative posts by those GPU communities about Ethereum.

Traditionally, getting attacked by all the other GPU coin communities can depress the price of Ethereum, so that will happen until the Ethereum Core Developers do a hard fork to remove ASICs from their network or begin an implementation Casper system.

Therefore, there are two causes for unsettled prices over the next 6 months.

For example:

2014 crude oil was $112 per barrel.

Electricity in 2014 costs $0.28 kWh (UK) when crude oil was $112 per barrel.

Fracking was developed in the USA and became a physical reality.

2016 crude oil was $43 per barrel.

Electricity in 2016 cost $0.11 kWh (UK) when crude oil was $43 per barrel.

But, this was the implementation of new technology - not an idea.

Maybe we're not at the bottom yet. Nevertheless, it is not yet known what will happen in the near future. The whole market can still fall.
