ARK i agree is a good project but I suffered major loss on my ETC investments got in at around .0055 btc now the price is almost .001

ARK doesn't have PoW, that's bad, then Komodo is better. Yes, and this makes no sense, it's just a good platform for testing new technologies that can be implemented later on ETH. Many are dissatisfied with delays in updating ETH, people do not understand that it is impossible to introduce new technologies without checking the time, other currencies are good for tests

I guess Vitalik is just waiting for the market condition to improve a bit before launching the updated version of ETH

ETH issue is the scalability that prevents high quality Dapps to be developped (they couldn't run on the current version of the blockchain). ETH is loosing the edge to faster blockchains, especially Tron (I consider EOS a junk).

I have such sensing that someone purposefully raises the entire coin market, what goals they pursue are hard to say. Eth soon again will go down in price.

It is better to hodl into your personal wallet rather throw out somewhere it could be dangerous for you. There is more high chance of lost of money even current is making panic to old investors but who have long term goal than can survive and it is better not look over the market price on daily basis.

Vitalik gave all his Ethereum to community that someone to not blame for manipulation. It was his example what was repeated by SatoshiLite. They dumped their own holding at top prices just to make the things more transparent. Market always move in opposite direction of public sentiment so it can taken as signals of rise, am I right ? I'm agree with you about market. It's very hard to go against the crowd and I was fear when I bougth BTC couple days ago when it was about 3700. But when I remeber what BTC and ETH did to me I remember why I'm here and I overcame fear. It's very hard to remember day by day what crypto can give to the people.
I came in crypto on hype and there were a lot of guru's that sold coins to the people, pump, dump groups and other shit, but when I'm really started to understand something I realised that only two people say what they really think and this is Andreas Antonopulos and Vitalik. Of course we can hate him I think it depends when you bought ETH) but Vitalik really believe to what he did even when no one don't believe.
I read about his skirmish with Nouriel Roubini and Vitalik show their own wallet to him and it looks like he never sold his ETH, maybe paid for some coders. I remeber when Charly Lee sold his LTC on the top, maybe you confused him with Vitalik.
I see here clear distinction between Vitalik and Charles Lee. Still think this is not fair to sold all coins on top and abondoned the project I mean LTC.

Hodling long term is nice, but not always as profitable (depends when you got in).

For example:
Purchased some at $300 - let's say 10 ETH
Sold it at $200 taking a loss.
With the same ETH budget (what was left) bought 20 ETH the other day ($100).
Probably going to sell them again because I believe ETH has more room to fall - thus ending up with 30-40 ETH - if successful in this assumption.

Trading 101, hopefully that sets the picture nicely for you  
Trading 102, if you believe in the project, keep buying more as the price falls to level your loses on your initial buy.
If you can't handle it of course, then just hodl & relax, and whatever you do - don't panic.

Crypto & trading is not for the faint hearted.

If the market is going the opposite direction of the public sentiment, then there are 3 possible cases: Either (1) there is a mistake in the assumption of the public sentiment, or (2) the market is being manipulated in order to throw inexperienced traders off and grab their money or (3) the public sentiment is being manipulated so as to believe that things are going well when the truth is there's trouble coming or to think we're doomed just before things change for the better.

Personally, I believe all 3 things are present at the same time in Ethereum.
ETH might be decentralised but it's not hard to move a market in either direction if you're rich and have the experience.

Does it seem like there's no escape if the market is being manipulated? There is a solution.
My advice is to not try and trade Ethereum (or any coin to be honest) and either buy and hold if you believe in it or stay away if you don't believe in it.


It's true that you could make more money by trading, but you could also lose a lot when just holding would bring you to a break-even.
Half the fight in the investment world is against one's self (one's psychology), if you'd lose money when you could be at 0$ gains is much worse for the psychic health than winning 50% of what you could win by trading.
So prioritise safety over maximising your gains.

I don't think this makes sense. Development teams shouldn't care about the market's condition, development teams should help CREATE the market conditions.
I think and I hope Ethereum team thinks the same way.

yes in market cap XRP is taking the lead over ETH for now but i think eth will soon on second best crypto currency again
i am very positive about eth and holding tight my eth coins
for now i don't even check eth price because its not make me happy

Yes everyone right now is just praying for another bull movement as we saw in December and January. So many projects don't even wanna launch their platforms in this market.
