That's true nothing changed current situation is still much better as compare with few weeks ago when all markets were moving into same pattern and situation more panic. ETH is here to stay and it will keep moving with great support we will see again big rally but weak hands will miss this like always.

Market is still very down even we are seeing green sign but i think big whales are done with market and now market start growing again.
Panic guys will sell again when negative news arrive but they will regret when bull run will trigger by some positive news.
Ethereum will more faster when ethereum network upgraded. Ethereum give us chance again to fill up bag at this point.

I think noobs don't understand this isn't a fork; it's a network upgrade.

If software app is changed so that it doesn't have backward compatibility it is called hard fork. So, Vitalik's ethereum is not a software app anymore. Well, what is it?

A change can be upgrade or downgrade. How do you know this particular change is not a network downgrade?

anyways the hard fork is a radical change to the protocol that makes previously invalid blocks/transactions valid (or vice-versa). This requires all nodes or users to upgrade to the latest version of the protocol software A softfork don't require any nodes to upgrade to maintain consensus since all blocks with the new softforked in rules also follow the old rules, therefore old clients accept them..
imagine you sending 10 million usd to overseas money actually isnt even transfered so fast as we think even paypal doesnt do money transfer this faster for even 5 usd... because everything works on credit and debt money being physical cant be send so fast you could actually travel to another country faster then your money gets to that country And this is not what we need for the future regardless of what you multiple X for the crypto prices because right now you are buying everything from FIAT money which is issued by goverment and slowly it will turn into cryptos that will have nodes from the goverment either way we will have things issued by govt but we will have inflation rate to less then 5% which happens 100% every 10 years..

This is well known. Others who are new to crypto all understand "fork" as something that means there will be 2 chains after some point, with new coins to claim somewhere.
Vitalik also proposed a terminology change to help make this concept easier for noobs: "network upgrade" means a fork that upgrades the protocol. Not contentious. "hard fork" or "fork" is a protocol change to indicate contention...meaning another client (allegedly) would be released to public.

Same here ethereum not only gonna work on scalibility but also they will work on Privacy this brings a whole lot new technology which is contract based but has all the features which other coins dont have
im looking forward to what future holds for everyone.. hodling is the best for cryptos the world hardly understands the tech i was same in 2012 we need more programs to educate people on how blockchain works but with new generation they are able to handle blockchain pretty well.

ETH is always a very good option to hold them for the long term instead of selling them for loos, so you need to grab them in the market when the price of ETH is very low in the market. Yesterday the price of ETH recovered from 115$ to 127$.

It may become a part of to build a power to pump ethereum but remember the result in the development progress still become the main concern. I would say that POS migration will make a lot of people will be more interesting because they will always keep their ethereum.

I won't expect too much at this very early moment. We'll see it on what will be eth's performance for half year and then let's think of it if $1,000 - $1,200 is likely for this year.

That's going to be the effect of the constantinople/upgrade of the network which will turn people back to ethereum.

ICOs not popular right now, and there are a lot of better blockchains for ICOs nowdays. So it will be hard for Ethereum hit previous AHT. This may be happens after Bakkt launch. But they postponed release (seems at last will Q2-Q3 this year). SEC should give an answer about ETFs in the end of February, if this will be positive answer, than we can see a rise too

When the mining reward go down from 3 to 2 ETH it means a (3-2)/3=1/3=33% reduction. The price of a coin is generally correlated with the cost of mining. The cost of mining Ethereum goes up 1/(2/3)-1=3/2-1=1/2=50% so naturally the price should with time continually seek its way to 50% more than the balanced price level before the reduction.
The reduction of the mining reward with 1/3 should lead to a price increase of 50%.

this is the scenario that all miners will like to happen, but the reality can move backward the ETH price
in that case, the other major daggerhashimoto minable coins could receive support from ethereum miners, like ETC, CLO,

I think price should start increasing post hard fork era once it is reported that everything is working well. Market tried to use the HF for increase but because of small dips that slower downed the momentum temporarily. Next attempt to cash the successful implementation of upgrading network will be factor to mobilize the market once again in my opinion. Today or tomorrow apparently don't expect significant increase.
