3 days to go until the Constantinople hard fork, will keep holding my ethereum and sell it soon when the hard fork came along.
I hope ethereum can be 1200 this year... just a wish i think the eth hit $1000 this year , it can be. ICOs maybe is power push the eth price rising up. Well Ethereum could hit above $1000 this year if solid projects passed otherwise scam projects is the cause of downtrend in cryptomarket. ICO's can push the price of ethereum but scam projects sell off ETH right after ICO then price of ethereum go lower instead of go higher. Let's see upgrade Constantinople is coming, this upgrade will bring some changes in network.

I don't see a reason or a sign for dip to happen. What i'm expecting is a big upwards movement pretty soon.

I think price should start increasing post hard fork era once it is reported that everything is working well. Market tried to use the HF for increase but because of small dips that slower downed the momentum temporarily. Next attempt to cash the successful implementation of upgrading network will be factor to mobilize the market once again in my opinion. Today or tomorrow apparently don't expect significant increase.
It would be more logical if the price began to rise before the fork, but not after. After the fork, according to all laws, there should be a dump.

More details here: BREAKING: Ethereum's major Constantinople upgrade was delayed after blockchain audit firm ChainSecurity discovered a security issue with one of the changes.https://www.coindesk.com/ethereums-constantinople-upgrade-faces-delay-due-to-security-vulnerabilitySmart contract audit firm ChainSecurity flagged Tuesday that Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1283, if implemented, could provide attackers a loophole in the code to steal user funds. Speaking on a call, ethereum developers, as well as developers of clients and other projects running the network, agreed to delay the hard fork – at least temporarily – while they assessed the issue. . . . A new fork date will be decided during another ethereum dev call on Friday.

I think it is right time for Ethereum community, real ETH's community members to call the Constantinople is un upgrade, not a hard-fork. It's better if the ETH community stopped mis-calling it as a hard-fork, that potentially lead to wrong understanding about pseudo-forks of scam projects. Constantinople Upgrade! I also explained about the term 'upgrade' in another topic, and the term should be used officially in ETH community. You should call it as an upgrade, not hard fork. There is no debate that Ethereum should hard fork or not in the Ethereum core team of developers. So, it's totally consensus upgrade from ETH team. Moreover, there is no serious debate and un-consensus that usually lead to 'real' hard-fork.
For the coming upgrade of Ethereum network, the old chain will be abandoned by Ethereum team after the upgrade. Then, everyone who have interest can use those open-sourced code of the old chain to keep developing more things from it. It's very simple and easy to understand. If there are 100 teams of developers use the old-chain open-sourced codes, and use them to create their own coins. Will you call all those 100 new coins as hard-forked coins from Ethereum network?
Honestly, I strongly believe that you won't call them as hard-forked coins. Can you confirm that you agree with me at this point, please.
In a nutshell, this coming one will be an upgrade on Ethereum network. That's all!

I agree calling the fork and replace it with the proper term of 'upgrade'. It's true to be an upgrade for eth's network and usually what crypto folk will think of with 'forking' is that it will create a new coin. But at this moment, it's more of an upgrade so I think it's plausible.

And it's really unfortunate people think that with the term fork. Because, before all these shit coins were created from minority communities and scams, people still understood fork to mean what it was: a breaking change in the protocol (an update). Now the "crypto community" has been crazy diluted with weak-handed muggles who are just here following hype...and can't seem to distinguish an upgrade from a contentious hard fork.

The term "fork" is most likely used to create more noise. And then all at the last moment to postpone (cancel). This is just my opinion, perhaps it is generally a test of the market, but the market almost did not respond.

Am glad eth team is extra cautious to add the next upgrade perhaps the best is yet to come. Its often said you would see the best when it's the right time.. Taking time is perfectly fine as this upgrade is the major upgrade for the future of eth

The market reacted poorly to news of the fork delay, but I do not see why this happened. Surely it is best to root out the problems before they occur, lest something awful happen later on.

Developers showed maturity and went for stable and secure way instead of throwing buggy code over people. There is nothing bad in this delay because long term goals and for everyone's safety this was necessary and right step. Seeing such responsible attitude I have come more closer to Ethereum and optimistic about its role in future.

True infact this gives me more relief as code gonna be stronger this time.. and with more functionality ... lets wait .. wait is sometimes good why rush .. This waiting gives me more relief as ETH gonna come out with stronger coding this time..

There is still was not fork. They delayed again Constantinople fork, because of some mistakes in code and at this time form delayes for unknown time. Bakkt also delayed tillthis summer probably . So may be Ethereum team just want to launch fork together with Bakkt launch, because 1st delayed was after Bakkt announced delay from December to january too...
