Yes, I remember bitcoin futures. But as you know on this expectation (waiting for bitcoin futures) BTC was grow from 5k usd to 20k usd. So I think we will have another one bullrun before Bakkt launch. And this may be even more higher than previous (like 40-50k usd) and than correction to 20k usd...

They more I read the pathetic posts and loser promoters in this thread, the more I see ethereum is long lost cause that was a stupid idea to begin with and doesn't have a hope in hell at contributing anything to this world other than trading scams.

I don't think it will go up too, but I will buy it if ETH touches below $ 60 later, I still don't have to hold it because seeing in the coinmarketcap ETH trading volume drops, hopefully, it can get better too and many things to note are that it is now easy for fraud to make an ICO

So many people are considering ETH will decrease its price even more so I will buy more coins in the market when it drops. We already know how potential ETH is going to be and I will consider holding the ETH for the long term. Instead of holding it for short term.

you are right in 6 months their could be a prediction of positive market and the market will go up
but now only stable market could bearably happening
and there is another chance of eth market rise and that is in the end of february because eth major upgrade gonna happen in the end of February or in the start of march 2019.
i believe that crypto will survive and after that it will rise and could go upto its all time high in one year

Is it the final calculation? i have seen and read some whitepapers related to the ethereum 2.0 and how much ethereum needed to staking in the network is not yet determined. There will be a chance for that to be changed again.

I think what is causing these huge dumps in the markets is due to the people who chased ETH at $160 back in beginning of January because they were assuming the ETH fork was going to be a success which would take us to at least $200.

The ETHBTC ratio is getting a huge sell-off and I have a feeling when $100 breaks for ETH it will cause more panic.

Basically this is similiar to what happened with the BCH, right before the fork it pumped to $650, people were expecting $1000 and came crashing down. This seems very common with most of the bitmex altcoin futures.

Let's see what will happen, although there was a pump from the beginning of the year but we haven't achieve so much, fork did not happen, instead was postponed on February, so I guess until that time happens, people are still gonna hold their ground. ETH has been dump so hard last year, harder than BCH so I don't see any reason why we should see another bottom.

Yes, because everyone certainly thinks of something that will come when they want to invest, the thing that is possible is to take profits also in the short term, but I prefer to get long-term profits, at least take it when cheap below the lowest price last year

It seems that we have another chance to buy ETH.
People tend to fall into panic sells again.
Some day this year, ETH will hit $200 as your dream.
The general market will turn better over time as well as Ethereum

When ETH was around 1300 usd one year ago people dreaming about 5-10k per ETH. But when market in deep depression people even don't believe in 200 usd per ETH 
I think when new huge good news coming and new bullrun happens people will believe again in new AHT (may be more than 1000 usd). Just matter of time when big whales will decide to pump market again

Yes, it is determined. 32 Eth is current spec.

You can talk a lot about the project, but what they did was 32 and not 64 or 1000 for the minimum value, the devs and vitalik shows that the project is not for quick money but for decentralization and people. An ordinary person can easily buy 32 eth and become part of the platform. Well done eth devcore!
