IS it possible to predict what the Ethereum supply will drop to after the hardfork?  Are there any reasonable guesses?

Yes it's but you can't predict the total supply.it's possible to predict about how much ether will be generated after the next block halving. Supply will remain the same but the block reward will get a big impact caused by this update.

It seems that the incoming update is good for eth network as what the team annouce. It is also.interesting to know that they can use the same token without creating a new block chain that would separate the eth old and new block chain unlike to what happen on BCH. It was being splitted into BCH and BSV.

It's good and we have seen the effect to the market price.
However, it's impossible that ETH will rise when the trend will continue, just recently, BTC has dump below $4K and this effects
the ETH also which has now over $14% decrease in value.

So we need not worry about the current situation of the market because soon the price of Bitcoin will start increasing, along with that the price of ETH will start increasing. Yesterday the price dropped again in the market so people are getting into with the market fluctuations.

Exactly, there's no need to worry because bitcoin is still here, the recent achievement proves that there are still investors
who are willing to push the price up, we haven't achieve that $4,100 since January this year so let's just consider it a big development of the price.

that's a long journey for crypto what you are talking about. looks like bull run is near beacuse BTC crossed 4000$ and eth price is also upto 160$
2000$ of eth is huge and need billions dollars in the market cap. i have no idea that will happens or not but one thing is clear that crypto is rising. thumbs up!!!

We are waiting for bull run and we feel that bull run trigger by latest news but again the whole market again going down insanely.
yesterday Ethereum price at $165 but now eth price at around $142 and that's really bad.
Otherwise Ethereum can achieve $2k but not now, not this year. Big whales not done with crypto market. Next year $2k could happen.

it is true that the actual movement of ethereum is also influenced by the increase in BTC past the price of $ 4K, so this is normal. When BTC goes back down, it finally impacts on ethereum to go back down. it seems like now ethereum can't escape the btc shadow, it can't move on its own.
but ethereum's heyday will definitely return, my prediction is that Q2 this year ethereum will sit at $ 300- $ 500.
Will continue to rise when it approaches the end of 2019 and can break above $ 1K.

due to eth Constantinople update eth will trade more. already its gas price rises this is the proof so its value will also move up and down continuously and make volume. due to marketcap and volume increase eth will be at no.1 in this week

Yeah Ethereum right now in red sign but still standing high and overtake ripple, now xrp so far from eth.
That's really interesting in few days we will face upgrade of Ethereum and hope so price will rise again and eth will reach $200 level easily.

Oops, they released this too early. This was supposed to be released after the "invisible hand" was done dropping the price in order to make the pump look like "normal buying because of the news".

Even when Ethereum falls back to the third position on coinmarketcap.com in terms of rank.
Why did I say like this?
Because even when Ethereum's marketcap falls into the third place, behind Ripple's figure, the ecosystem of Ethereum will solidly be the second largest.
Ripple ecosystem can not beat Ethereum's one at this area.

There is way too much hype around Bakkt. Honestly after hearing about it for over 9 months or so, I still don't understand exactly what it is just another type of Bitcoin futures.

I think a more positive note was the Samsung flagship phone S10 which came with a Crypto wallet which features BTC, ETH and the ERC20 tokens. This is big because many people will notice this wallet on their phone and wonder if "Crypto" might be the next big thing like the internet and it will get their attention. Keep in mind the Samsung S10 usually sells in the millions around the globe.
