Is their any big news in March 8 so we will see ETH to raise that big?

I tried to research in the internet but I don't see any event that would tell why the price will rise.

On the long haul viewpoint, ETH is bullish. The new Constantinople fork is set to occur on Thursday, February 28, 2019. May conquer the obstruction this time, there will be a bullish rally of Ethereum price. That is actually what we anticipate from the upcoming Ethereum Constantinople.

Does the fork alter substantially the mining to an extent that miners not on the latest software would need to update to handle the new fork.   Or is the largest apparent change for those miners just the reward alteration and difficulty changes, ie. business continues

I think a change to POS is likely correct so long as ETH remains as at least as capable afterwards as it was on POW

It is big fun to watch what happen next this time it will get delayed like before or they will implement on the network successfully. I already transferred my coins to Binance as they are supporting this fork.

It's possible even without a BTC move but I don't believe that it will happen, BTC can lose so much dominance because every alt will pump if ETH will make such move

Obviously since the Master Protocol has many of the same goals, I'm keeping an eye on this project.

Regardless of which technology stacks survive and/or thrive, I think we can all agree that the financial world is in for some major upheaval!

This project has come a long long way in 5 years now it's so well known that even some usual fiat looks more unknown than this

I'm pessimistic, it's becoming a reality. the current price is $137 and it is impossible to go up to $250 in less than one month. I personally have a target of ethereum prices at the beginning of the month of $ 200. if this can be achieved I think there will be many people who are happy

Whole altcoins are still following bitcoin and ethereum too. I can't deny if bitcoin still hold the main key to the altcoin. Ethereum can give a little impact to the price of altcoin but it's not so big as bitcoin dude.

Can anyone recommend a pool to use with www.nicehash.com ? I've tried www.miningpoolhub.com and I can't get the difficulty to adjust on either side so my shares keep getting rejected for the ethash algo.

Proof of Stake is always better kind of Proof of confirmations.
Because the kind of proof can better protect global environment.
Staking requires and consumes less energy, then less green house gases emitted from staking industry, than what happens with mining industry.
The problem in months to come after the hardfork is the risks of price's fall.
There are so many coins witness drops after switching from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake.
Anyway, I believe that Ethereum can make a big difference, as always.

Is there any option that the coin can be divided and again there will be a new ETH. In the end, for some reason, the exchanges announced that they support changes in the network ETH

I read about nano pool.. wound up going with coinotron right now... actually mining ETC on there because of minimums and what not as far as confirms, withdrawals, deposits. Not sure how the fork will effect ETH too so staying safe lol.

I agree with you on nanopool. So far so good. Currently mining ETC, about ETH after the fork still have many people doubt about ETH switch to PoS. Still waiting for some good news about it. All the best for ETH and ETC.

Why this question here on the ETH thread? Are you thinking that ETH has the power to influence BTC prices in this way? I do not think so, it may have some influence on market sentiment, but not at the level of making BTC value so much. In a few hours we will know the future of ETH.

250$ is possible with the current development they are going to release because previously the price of ETH cross more than 160$ which seems to be more bullish. So the chance of increasing ETH price is very huge, so now it is very good to hold ETH tightly until the market starts recovering.
