The whole value of ether today lies in the exclusivity of smart contracts in the crypto market. There are smart contracts in other coins. Ether is the main one so far. I'll repeat it again for the unintelligent... Cross-chain ecosystems based on a new consensus algorithm have already been created. Smart contracts of the ether are becoming a thing of the past. Ether won't be worth very much soon. Everything will happen on the basis of cross-chains and new algorithms consensus without smart contracts of the ether.... You don't even suspect it yet... Investments in ether and bitcoin will not bring investors big dividends as before. You need to think about the new little by little.
A smart contract is a centralized document created by one person and confirmed. perhaps. several consultants. This concept initially contradicts the idea of decentralization.
The smart contract itself must be decentralized by technical means.
