price manipulation is common, and this is often done by those who have a lot of money and have data from bitcoin buyers by desperately placing lots of holder to sell their tokens and then buy as much bitcoin to reap huge profits when prices rise drastically
and this is a fact for old players in bitcoin

Bitcoin price manipulation is all over the treed, posted by Media and other news agency, they are now investigating the said price manipulation on Bitcoin price. Now, what will we do with this price manipulation on Bitcoin? But, what i can see on this issue, is more on the attempt by the government to Regulate the Bitcoin Digital Transaction or Crypto currency transaction, not to mention the other issue on Banned and Scammer. Bottom line, Bitcoin acceptance and popularity is unstoppable.

Price manipulation is actually very possible especially in the world of cryptocurrencies because these so called whales can push and pull the prices in the market. Investors that have hodled a portion of the circulating coins in the market.

most likely indeed, because in this world nothing is impossible. let alone the hackers hanging around, sometimes this can be exploited by hackers to seek profit.

Bitcoin is being manipulated through various ways.
You must have heard that Tether (USDT) is back in news. Almost 200 million new Tether were printed and are ready to come in market. Tether has long history of manipulating the Bitcoin price and bringing an artificial pump and many a times Bitfinex has been criticized for the same. There are many reports backing this claim that Tether are strategically being printed during a downtrend to bring BTC back in uptrend.

The major exchanges are the biggest manipulators. But they can't let Bitcoin suffer a lot to bring a panic in market because BTC is what supports them.

Anything that can make the market change in an instant in terms of prices can be considered as manipulation. Usually, whales can easily do these because they have the power and money to do so. Whenever they will see the market turning green and they can see a profit if they sold their huge amount of bitcoin, they will see it as a good opportunity to sell and then buy later on when the price is so low then wait again for the perfect time to sell.

Yeah, thats the safest word to say "considered". Because everytime bitcoin falls, its either there's a manipulative moves that the big players are doing or certain exchangers huge bitcoin sold out, which is also under investigation today due to price manipulation probability.
I dont know if the news was true or it just another market trick, average joe's in crypto space like us doesnt really have a definite idea whats going on with the market. We're just riding with the big players as well as they are riding with us.

I also doubt if there is really no one manipulating the bitcoins price because the bitcoins price are not yet rising eveb if there are a lot of people that are positive in it. But maybe I just still do not see all of the people's activities in cryptocurrency maybe the majority of them still selling that is why the price is still stable in that price range. But I am still hoping that the bitcoins is purely on us i hope there is no one manipulating the price. If that is so I knew that the bitcoins will rise very soon

Why would you think that price manipulation is not possible? Since its a free market, there are higher chances of price manipulation. When a group of whales joins together to manipulate the market, we can't actually help much unless we are able to realize that the price is being manipulated and take proper steps to not let the manipulators take advantage off it.

It can be possible because cryptocurrencies is a decentralized system which means government can't do nothing about its value. Only those so-called big whales who are manipulating its price and this is based from what I read from the news. But until now, no one really prove this and everything still is under speculations.

Yes there are governments today that are investigating the price manipulation of cryptocurrency and it was possible for the hackers to manipulate the market price if they are really good in programming because all of the sites are made by web developers.

Bitcoin is decentralized market so no one have the control of it but the people who are holding the larger part of the crypto currencies can manipulate it by changing the demand and supply.And also actually it happened before and happening right now too and the people who can manipulate the market is called whales.

If this has happened before, why didn't they conducted an investigation immediately to stop manipulators from doing it. Many small investors are really sacrificed by their bad intentions. Why couldn't they be contented? Its really hard for small investors to lose to big greedy whales.

They should not investigate about the manipulation over bitcoins because everyone is interested on cryptocurrency and they will make different ways in order to manipulate the price like hacking the system, government should not care about that since they are not related to cryptocurrency because the market of cryptocurrency does not have tax.

We cannot say that there is a price manipulation. We know how the volatile the bitcoin value. We cannot assure or if there are way to manipulate the the price or the value of bitcoin. We must have a proof whether they are manipulating or not. Lets not be to dependent on news or even on social media.

it seems the price is very difficult to be manipulated because those who have bitcoin very much and to be able to manipulate the price in the market is the news circulating in some media, just imagine if there is good news prices will rise and when there is bad news would cost the price down to like this.

We can't just put all our blame into the people doing such actions that causes price fluctuations because in the first place, this is not the only reason having market change.  FUDs also take some effect into it,  but if we don't even play their game,  they actually won't succeed. But sadly some of us just got tempted and full of worries when they saw market turning into red and then easily throw their coins in cheap.

To be completely transparent, the answer should be a resounding, Yes.

If you do enough research, you will see that bitcoin is an emerging technology that has greatly benefitted those early investors. Some of whom have thousands and thousands of bitcoin. Now let your imagine run free for awhile and imagine you had 10,000 bitcoin. That would make a huge impact on exchange trading buy and sell orders right? Now imagine yourself as a savvy economist day trader statistician, don't you think you would have some ideas on how to make calculated trades that would leverage your portfolio size to earn profits?

I always thought that there's someone behind Bitcoin who manipulate or controls things. we may think it's decentralized but at the back of our minds we always think, who are those people. sooner or later we will all find out who are those people behind this manipulation.
