Bitcoins is not related to any criminal price manipulations because most of the people who are using cryptocurrency is only looking for an alternative way of having an income monthly because daily needs is very hard to sustain.

The price manipulator is those whales they always manipulate the value of cryptocurrency. Even bitcoin.I am sure of that. They controlling the value of that currency so they have a full control to it. And anything they want they will get. A huge factor of bitcoin how pitiful is that right

Yes, it could be true that price can be manipulated, But the question on my mind who are main boss or mastermind to manipulated it. All say Whales is the one managing the cost. But who are the whales behind on this?  I don’t get the exact answer on it. Still an anonymous because if we know who is manipulated on it, SEC or department of justice doesn’t need to investigate or solve the issues. So we need to solve this issues to stop it.

it does possible. With big amount of money and a lot coins and good decisions i believe they could affect the market price. They might be not doing it alone, maybe there is a team behind it.

To be completely transparent, the answer should be a resounding, Yes.

If you do enough research, you will see that bitcoin is an emerging technology that has greatly benefitted those early investors. Some of whom have thousands and thousands of bitcoin. Now let your imagine run free for awhile and imagine you had 10,000 bitcoin. That would make a huge impact on exchange trading buy and sell orders right? Now imagine yourself as a savvy economist day trader statistician, don't you think you would have some ideas on how to make calculated trades that would leverage your portfolio size to earn profits?

Resounding, yes indeed lol! It is obvious and a lot of traders already know that. It is not new, happy that it is being investigated, and I hope something can be done about it.

It is a volatile and decentralized market and with that those who have the upper hand in the market usually do not let things roll normally where we get to see real demand and supply and market moving in the direction but rather would instigate some direction, fuel in FOMO, and before you know it, dump!

it maybe true that there is bitcoin price manipulation, but we do not know who is manipulating and how. which we know, why there is price manipulation because so that bitcoin prices down and investors who have large capital can buy bitcoin when the price is cheap. it's just an opinion, maybe somebody knows better.

There is no single entity in international market who deals with this manipulation. Rather a whole mafia or a group of so many whales that have condenses on some demands and takes and they are making the market up and down. Here one thing to understand, these whales don’t control bitcoin, they are just controlling the market. The prices going up and down just because of this reason.

Yes, price manipulation can happen if someone has a lot of bitcoin. they call them whales. even I've heard a rumor that there is a group holding bitcoin in a very large amount, they can control the market price on bitcoin.

That is true their are price manipulation happen because they feel envy in the group they have seen that their are bitcoiner who has many crypto the whale will start to attack the investors or the bitcoiner. The rumor is always a rumor if you did not experience yet but for those who experienced already that is true to them.

I think that is true,  their are some big player's behined why the price of bitcoin is not stable. Because of the big player's or the big whales. They can manipulate the price of bitcoin it's their strategies to sell a big volumes of bitcoin when the price is high. And also distributed FUD and the False news to the media so that the price of bitcoin will be affected and the price will fluctuates. And then they have to buy a big volumes of coins in a very low prices.they will eat the small investor's.

Yes, only whales can do the manipulations. There are already lots of big whales now that never stop the manipulations of the cryptocurrencies, for me the better ways to do is to go with the flow, most of the time you will find trends / pattern of it.

not necessarily I guess, indeed in 2017 bitcoin increases dramatically and does not decrease in price, and by 2018 correction occurs. This is not a matter of price manipulation but can be considered a stressing market.

That's True Bitcoins will manipulate not only in the US but also in the whole the world maybe not yet comes but its near to come. in our country in the Philippines some people are using now Digital currency like bitcoins. a lot also of online investment. but from now the economy of bitcoins is so low prices. if here we convert bitcoins into our money is so very low value. maybe if we have big capital to invest then convert it into our money is not good. but positively if we invest at this time and waiting for the higher value of bitcoins. we can be earn a lot if we are patiently wait for it. you are so price if bitcoins will be Manipulate in all thr country in our generation.

What makes me worried about this is that, bitcoin is not really legal that is why I don't think that even though there will be an investigation regarding the price manipulation, it won't easily be solved. Besides big whales have big power and I just hope that it won't use its influence to change the result of the legal investigation. It's hard if bitcoin will be manipulated because that might reduce the number of investors.

Crytos, stocks, etc, they are all manipulated, even though stocks are regulated. Bitcoin is not illegal, but lets say it is, it became legal, that won't cut down on manipulation.

Manipulation was possible in 2013, when 90% of the trade volume was concentrated on Mt Gox and BTC-e. But now there are hundreds, if not thousands of exchanges and the trade volume is more evenly distributed. Now it is much harder to manipulate the prices.

yes for me also it should be investigated by who? We are all anonymous here as of now so even the government agency would be hard for them to investigate it specially if the whales can play with the flow of the market.

Manipulation with prices for bitcoin is not only possible, but it already happens. Since the sale of futures for bitcoins, thanks to which you can either raise or lower the price. We can say that bitcoin is a decentralized network, but reality is completely different.

The market of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will surely increase and will grow more with the passage of time because people are attracting towards this market due to the promotions of Bitcoin. Investment with large amount and in good timings will make this market well and will contribute to the stability. All these things if go well then the market price and other factors besides users will manipulate.
