As long as Bitcoin remains the base cryptocurrency of exchange for altcoins, it still holds sway as the prime crypto. While there may be few cryptos with potentials to do >×10 in the coming months or years, you can't be certain the project will exist in 5 or 10 years time. The best method in cryptocurrency now is short term to medium term holding. When you are in profit, cash out and buy back at dip. If you master this, you would be able to accumulate more tokens/coins without injecting new funds.

But how about if bch doesn't increase in value? I believe more in bitcoin more than any altcoin as bitcoin is more establish than anything else and besides I don't want to settle to lesser things. I think what you've said is just pure speculations and we all have different point of view.

For me hodling BTC is another form or making profit. It's been more stable than other coins. It has been dropping in price, 5% recently. But I think it's still more profitable to hodl it in the long run than panic sell now.

I agree. Bitcoin seems like one of the coins that even after a log time it would still retain its value simply because it was the first coin to exist. But of course, it all depends on thee interpretation of the 'long-time' because 1 year may not seem to long to HODL for some whilst it can be the opposite for others. |

Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?
Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.
Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .
After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.
But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.
So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?
For me, Interms of long-term method It should be bitcoin currency because you may buy low and sell high If necessary. In altcoins nowadays their was rare case reliable coin to Invest because there are a lot of ICO were scam and Its hard to determine which of It. |

There is a lot of room for growth with bitcoin,it is unimaginable now but is fast becoming an asset class.If as little as 1 percent of the middle class use it as a store of value, price estimate will be 150,000 Usd per btc.

Bitcoin holding are for the early adaptors. They can choose to hold their Bitcoins for as long as they want since they got them at a very much lower price than it is today. But for the new investors, it would be wiser to invest in alts since prices are much much more affordable and the growth for value is greater. Meaning, there is a better possibility for bigger profit when we will invest in alts. |

Maybe you are right by your own side, but I think different. And, I love to hold Bitcoin for a long time. Because only long bitcoin holders are a millionaire now and if you start hold from now for a long time then you can earn huge money too. Because bitcoin has high potential to reach 50K USD in any time.

In my opinion, I prefer to hold the Bitcoin. Although the amount of the coin is still the same, only 1, but we can convert it sometimes to the dollars to get the higher rate. Bitcoin is also still one of the best coins to hold for the long-term investment. I like this coin because of the utility and rate.
