This is not a good excuse not to hold Bitcoin. You should be aware that with altcoin you can lose a lot in percentage during bearish movements compare to Bitcoin.
 By the way it is not too reasonable to hold an Altcoin that wants Bitcoin destroyed

This is a very childish argument. There is no guarantee that the BCH vs BTC exchange rate may go up in the future. BCH exists because of the scaling issues associated with Bitcoin. If those issues are resolved, then BCH may become obsolete.

Yes holding BCH instead of Bitcoin is the wrong decision. I had experience in this trade i converted my BTC to USDT when the BTC price was ATH and I bought BCH when the price was dropped to $200 my good luck it increased $380 in just 1 week but my expectation was very high i thought it will reach my expectation but now i am in very bad situation and still holding my BCH.

So according to me holding Bitcoin is much safer than holding altcoins. we can trust Bitcoin but we can't trust altcoins.

Of course it is better to keep altoquin. But you probably forgot that coins are falling in price relative to bitcoin, especially last 2 weeks. It is better to keep half the bitcoin and half in the altcoins. This is the safest option

I think just the opposite if you want to see price charts in previous years would you think how much profit we can get if we keep holding it and I am sure this pattern will continue then I think long term investment is a good strategy

You are not getting my point. Once you have profit 2X then you can sale your BCH and convert into btc. I have bought 8.75 BCH for 1 BTC . After some day I will update how many btc I have. Because only I was have 1 BTC  from beginning. That all I convert into BCH.
