Anyone know what's up with block time on hashstrike, xhash, updamoon, and miningpool.co?  I've never seen it so slow.  I've tried them all today and I might get 1000/hr if I'm lucky.  At 1.2Mh/s.  Usually I get 5000/hr.

You need to stay 24h at least to even out. Same with other coins. By switching between pools you usually worsen it.

The current price of the coin already has the halving built into it.

THIS.

People arent stupid. Same thing happened to BTC.. it was a big yawn, because people already bought into the half in the months leading up to it.

thats doesnt mean same will appen to leaf.....cos with current supply of coin....i think leaf is still way over valued......and will continue to drop.....i think 5 satoshi should be the floor though

it's no surprise that there are many who want to see the price continue to drop, so that they can scoop it up cheap. especially those who don't have much BTC to spend in the first place.

good thing there are billions of LEAF in the hands of those who are going to hold until it reaches it's natural pricepoint, which i'm thinking is more around 40-50 in the next 1-2 months, and 150 near it's last halfening.

but i do agree that the halfening isn't going to do much, just means that miners have to work twice as hard, so when it becomes harder to mine, then people try manipulating the price downward so they can just trade to get their hands on it. makes sense.

I get that, but I have mined Leaf off and on daily since launch, so I'm familiar with block times and payouts.  The block time is longer than usual.  I was just looking for an explanation as to why.

For anyone who wants it, here is a basic PHP Library (continued to be fleshed out with more API end points) that can help people integrate Leafcoin into web projects.

I admire the dev for working so hard, this coin deserves to go up in value... but still blockhalving alone wont change anything in price...
It needs marketing and pr and yes the dev is doing a good job

I agree with dev working hard .. but he also needs to come up with frequent update about foundation. The foundation or road map is the one which is going to help the coin retain its value or go upwards.

Just in case anyone was wondering what you could do with this PHP library.  Here's a quick example: http://www.leafapi.com/
Easily check the difficulty, current block, and network hashrate, plus the latest block number will automatically link up with the leafcoin block explorer.

Lots more to come for this API.  Soon we should be able to have a payment gateway system.  Anyone have a need to pay with Leafcoins?

we are writing texts for the foundation currently... the cms is as good as ready.

only thing left to do is providing transparency on incoming transactions and fill her up with projects.

and some wallet testing and such.

we build this from scratch. didnt use any opensource cms software... the wallets are disconnected from the site.

incoming transactions will be replicated over an api to the site but the actual wallets are not on the foundation site.

my gf also has to change some layout stuff. small things.

option looking at: we might change the reading of transaction information to reading from an explorer.

cheers.

Excellent work mcg - thanks for all the effort into making this such a great coin and community.

Do you have an ETA on when the foundation will be launched?

depends on the availability of some ppl ( including myself, i have a regular job as well )

also we are waiting for response of the listed charities ( they need to send us lists with projects )

if the charities havent responded within a few days from now, i will start calling them.
