Timeline (oh well, our timelines hardly have been accurate in the past I must admit - maybe we can get better...) :
- coding 0.61 finished: on 30th June
- publishing changelog: on 30th June
- testing everything and fixing issues caused by 0.61: 1st July - 3rd July
- uploading everything, set up the network and so on: late 3rd July
- release of 0.61 immediatly thereafter (3rd - 4th July)

So if you say: "our timelines hardly have been accurate in the past I must admit", why be so precise than?

Just point people to your development updates and once in a while let us know how you are doing in this thread.
At this point I merely laugh when I see another launch date and think: "I believe it when I see it"...

While you are waiting for the dev's you should use this time to get organized:

1. Website - Get your own website asap and get off of btt. Btt is just a cesspool of trolls.
2. Logo - A logo will consume alot of time, start now.
3. When making decisions keep the end goal in mind - A crypto currency is useless if average joe doesn't use it.
4. Do not make decisions based on market value of EXO - Isn't this the same as the system we are trying to replace?

To the EXO dev's:

Think about your significant other/neighbor/coworker, store owner. What will make them use EXO?

Do with these ideas with what you want, use them/ignore them tell me piss off, it's up to you.

oops, forgot about that   looks like you are well on your way with the logo, I would keep in mind that when designing a logo it has to be easy to be reproduced.

I allready propose to make a correct french translation a month ago, still waiting for dev's answer..

Indeed I forgot about that. Sorry. We got a reply from the original author of that translation and he made me believe that it is not a google translation. But if it is not good enough from your points of view (we do not speak a single word french) then a new translation would be good I guess (with the current, updated information).

In fact, it's literally impossible to understand anything from this "french translation" if you are french.
I don't know if it's a google translate job (it looks like), but be assured it was made by someone who didn't speak a word of french neither

If anyone wants to go for it.

I proposed myself a long time ago to make a correct one, but i of course want the bounty for translation for myself..

The wallet I actually find more user friendly than anything.

It gives the option of mining to people, all dev needs to do is write a "Help" file and option within the GUI along with maybe some pop-up tips and it should be good to go for average joe.

The average Joe won't find eXocoin without taking the time to read a bit about cryptocurrencies.
And any future article related to eXocoin will for sure speak at least, about bitcoin and/or Nxt.

Personally, I don't know any people who'll jump into something involving money without reading a good and complete explanation.

It was just my own interpretation.
There will always be people who dislike the name anyway.

If we want to get more average joe, the first and most important step for the entire community is to demystify and dedemonize cryptos as too many people keep associating it with black market, pyramid schemes etc...

Current status of eXocoin in general:
As you can see in our bug tracker there are quite some points (and some are still open). With the 0.61 release we will have solved the major bugs and improved the client with some suggestions (if everything goes well).
OSX developement made huge progress as well. We might release the osx client with 0.61 or otherwise with 0.62.
From 0.61 ongoing we will host our download area content within sourceforge for better download performance and public viewable download statistic.
