Why up to 80% bounty campaign extend the deadline?

Hi there! I participating in several bounty campaign. In 4 out of 5 campaign deadline was extended. In one be extend for a month, in another - for 2, in a third - for an indefinite period. Say please, this is normal or it is attribute of scam?

Because everything in the market is down. This is just a technique of those ICO's to prevent the value of their token to be dumped. This way, investors wont panic as they will not see bounty hunters to dump their tokens. most probably it will extend until the market went up. This is just normal and nothing to worry if you participate in a legit and good bounty campaign.

Bounty campaign are extended mostly because they didn't even reach soft-cap. Last bounty campaign that I was participate got extended for 2 more month, because they didn't reach soft-cap. On twitter they said : Because of bitcoin price dropped , people stop investing in ICO that we extended sale for 2 more month. A real reason is that people don't really trust on that ICO and they don't wanna invest in something that will maybe become scam.

There are many reasons for extending a bounty campaign such a extending the ICO period to have more time for the token sale and there is also adding certain requirements loke DAICO and KYC. There is also the changing of one bounty manager to another. But if any case the bounty extend you should always remember to make sure that the time you spend in the bounty will be worth it which is why evaluating every bounty is crucial for your success.

This day reaching soft cap is becoming tougher and tougher for ico and that is the reason why they are extending the date. just for them to raise the more money for the platform. and that in turn is responsible for increasing the deadline for bounty as well

Probably this is one of those many reason behind the extensions of any bounty, they needed to reach the soft cap before they can pay their supporters and make sure that the coins/tokens will continue to progress with enough money to complete each promises regarding to the usage of the said project.

You are right, some ICOs are extended for one to 3 months. Imagine how it will be much longer when the ICO should end in this month but must be extended until September. It is very annoying. But I'm pretty sure that every ICO dev has their right to change the rules for the better condition. They may have certain considerations why to extend for some months. Just follow it.

That the deadline of  bounty campaign you participated in was extended does not mean it is scam. I have seen instances of such, yet they ended up well. Sometimes it might be due to faulty management and there are times that it might be because of the state of market.

Most of the bounty campaigs that extends their deadline is trying to reach hard cap. It means that they want to sell all tokens on their token sale. I have participated on a bounty campaign once wherein they extended their bounty until their token sale was sold out. But for the compensation, they doubled the stakes.

there are many factors that affect it. Try to think positively, then observe whether the group remains crowded or lonely. Good projects do take a really good time before they're ready to release.

The extension of the ICO more often suggests that the project could not raise the right amount of money for a certain period, so this period increases and extends the ICO.

ICO extend their fund raising because a lot of people did not buy their ico, so they did not raise the amount they are targeting so that's why most them extended it, i have been project that extended their ico to a longer month, i have to quite the signature.

For me, I seldom experience to extend its bounty program, extending bounty program's one of the main reason is delayed launching of ICO or giving extra weeks in the token sale period because Token sold is very minimal or did not reach the soft cap. But for me, it is an indicator that the ICO did not successfully raise its target.

Some bounty campaign do extend not only for 2 months they extend even more than 5-6 months. I was just wondering why? And they only pay little to the participants.

Maybe they didn't reach the cap that they needed to which they planned, so they extended the duration of the deadline. but if it keeps extending the deadline that might be a scam or someshit

This situation really happens very often. Of course, this is bad and unfair for bounty campaign participants. But it is better than get nothing. If the campaign is extended, there is still small chance to collect soft cap.

Yes you are correct that a lot of ICO are extended because they want better. Most of ICO are reschedule for some reason like market is not good they want better marketing strategy or they have some issues need to resolve before they proceed to ICO. It is normal and be thankful if they reach the softcap and better if the hardcap.

this is normal, I have seen so many bounty campaign that extends their deadline, due to some reasons, like they want to increase the funds that they allocated during main sale, or maybe they want to develop more of their project.
