It's because sometimes they failed to get reached their soft/hard cap and that's why they extend, if they can't raise enough money, how will they operate? You have to understand how this process work.

Quite a strange statistic you have. For what period? If for the last 2 quarters, I will not be surprised. Now investors do not bring money and some projects generally write that they will continue to work only for several years.

Most ICO's that are unable to meet the soft-cap are the majority that do extend their bounty period. If you look deeply most especially this bear market, it should not be a thing of upmost surprise if 80% of ICO's extend their bounty period for over months. This was not so during the peak period of 2017, so market situation remain critical consideration here and it might not be necessarily a scam.

On a side note, the prices of crypto has been decreased. All ICO projects fund is based on USD and they collect fund with the rate of the token sale start date, as a result when prices decrease, they don't have enough fund to continue the project.

its normal for its bounty campaign to be tied up but sadly its just okay for us to wait or work for more as long we do get paid but the reality on where most bounty hunters didn't
get paid up worthy on the work that they have done or the worst they do being scammed instead.

I don't think they arrived at the hartcap even though the ICO / ITO was extended so that they returned the funds collected to investors back and did not get paid is a risk that we can be a bounty hunter so do you think they deceived us I don't think ... but what is clear is that we are very disappointed and feel cheated is very reasonable ... denggggg

Something that i already experienced.  Take long campaign and then not get paid because project decide to cancel ICO and refund investor's money. Maybe that is why pick bounty campaign for now must think like investor so we not wrong that pick campaign to join.

Indeed, it is undeniable that the crypto situation is indeed a very dilemma, so that almost all projects carried out are not many investors who glance at and invest there because they also doubt whether it will run well or be forced so that when finished ico the price drops and investors not accepting profits even loses because the price of tokens is very far below the price of ico.

Well, I would blame bounty hunters for this reason at first because hunter always sell their token/coins at the very beginning of the exchange listing which results a huge dump and low price of the token/coins. Moreover, the market is not a perfect one. There's no huge investment. People don't invest in ICO nowadays.

Because they do not meet the stated deadlines. If the project was good and investors would quickly pay attention to it, then they could finish the bounty ahead of schedule.

We get used to this, this strategy is to avoid dump, I still have many tokens receivables from the campaign I participated in the past but
I have to accept it, it's the teams decision and it's understandable that when they gave it, people will dump and the value will go more cheaper which
I don't want to see and sure most bounty hunters too.

The spirit of bounty hunting is still here, maybe just need to wait a bit for the right timing,  and we shall enjoy our bounty tokens when receive.

There should be tokenomics to handle bounty hunters dump, although I am not of the opinion of bounty hunters dumping, I think it is beyond. Those price are too ridiculous for anyone to sell, some in the range of 1/100th of the ICO price. More also, have not seen such case with big volume exchange, they are good in handling such listing to handle dump.

Usually extend when they realize that just do not collect the required amount, but it can also be the usual scammers to delay as much time as possible to pick up more money

Hi there! I participating in several bounty campaign. In 4 out of 5 campaign deadline was extended. In one be extend for a month, in another - for 2, in a third - for an indefinite period. Say please, this is normal or it is attribute of scam?

Not always bounty, who decide on the extension of the deadline, are scammers. Just some reliable and good projects have not yet been able to reach the cap. Unfortunately, now this problem has become more common due to the current state of the crypto market and the insufficient amount of investment.

We are in bearish season lots of projects did not meet up to their target so thereby making them to extend ico sales period and automatically extending bounties program, or they might feel that they did but get the required attention they needed so they tend to extend it
