The price of bitcoin is falling because there're a lot of people who are tryng to sell their coins. This will effect the altcoins temporarily. But, later on when the price increases, the price fo altcoins will also increase.

at the beginning of the know bitcoin in the last 1 year. Bitcoin prices are not half that of now. But fitting late last year. I was so shocked by the significant price increases. whereas much controversy has occurred in some countries. The new bitcoin drop prices are felt today due to the impact of many people selling bitcoin and eth as well as when the coins rise.

Yes the market situation for bitcoin is not too good, and once people saw bitcoin fall down then they will also sell their alt coin, if you see the chart when bitcoin go down the alt coin also fall down, so the falling of bitcoin definitely impact the alt coin price in negative way

It is simply altcoins would also affected when bitcoin price dropping, because altcoins are something related to bitcoin when it comes to business transactions, and the finish price value of tokens comes also to the price status of bitcoin, so it is bad actually to altcoins when bitcoin price is dropping.

Yes it's bad, Altcoins are related to Bitcoin even if there can be slight differences, but the entire market is bullish if bitcoin is bullish and is bearish if bitcoin is bearish.

Every coin begin from bitcoin, of course there's effects into altcoin price. They are connected and that's why before replace money into coin we should see bitcoin first. When supply more higher than demand the price always fall and we should see it as reality, nothing too worry about it as long we already set stop loss and follow our strategy. Keep going and never lost faith about bitcoin or altcoin.

Altcoins price goes along with the Bitcoin price so bitcoin price drop is making a bad impact on altcoin prices. As soon as bitcoin price start recovering we'll see altcoin price increasing.

Undoubtedly it is bad. Because bitcoin is the king crypto and its price always effect the altcoins price too. SO, certainly it is bad for both.

Bitcoin price has an effect with altcoins because they are all dependent in Bitcoin. If Bitcoin dump severely expect that there is also a dump in altcoins because fiat currency has now a role in trading compared before that bitcoin and altcoin pairing only.

We can usually see that when Bitcoin is dropping, the other altcoins are dropping even harder. It's not always the case, but most of the time, altcoins are still dependent on Bitcoin's price and overreact. If Bitcoin falls, they fall harder, and if it goes up, altcoins are going up even faster.

Yeah bad all round, when btc goes sideways alts may have some fun. If you're new, now could be a good time to invest, if you're not and looking to sell, probabaly not the best time!

Good or bad depends upon what kind of investor are you really. If you think that you will make more money by buying the crypto currencies at such low rates then you are good to go with it. As most of the crypto geeks will suggest that investing when crypto currency is at discounted rates is always perfect thing and very heathy profits can be achieved from it. However, currently BTC is dropping and altcoins are following the patterns too. (Excluding some!) This is because its the whole market cap from where the 42 billion + investment was wiped out recently. Thats the scene here and nothing to worry about really.

The fall of the main crypto currency is bad for all Altcoins

The growth of BTC will not be as rapid as in 2017, but it will begin in June.

Altcoins can grow several times

Yes, it is bad for altcoins as they all depend on the BTC. Some altcoins might resist for a little time, but they should fall after.

It is not really a good thing seeing the price of market falling so bad there by affecting other coin. The price of bitcoin will affect altcoin either when it rises or when it falls because it controls almost all the coin and this is becoming so bad because of the rate at which people are rushing to sell their coin to avoid big loss.

Basically when the bitcoin falls with it falls and the whole main market is critters, so it seems to me that it's bad for altcoins.

has it ever occurred to you that it may also be the other way around?

we all know that altcoins have been getting pumped hard for most of the year 2017. and that has left them with huge bubbles. now the market is just correcting this huge bubble and when everyone dumps their altcoins they want to go back to fiat at a time when they are not sure about bitcoin price rise.
what they do is that they dump their pumped shitcoin for bitcoin then they sell bitcoin and crash bitcoin price.
