It is bad, because almost all altcoins depend on Bitcoin. Unfortunately it is so and we cannot do something about it. In such market conditions, investors trust mostly in Bitcoin and when it drops, everything is dropping as well. Sad, but it is true.

Yes the market situation for bitcoin is not too good, and once people saw bitcoin fall down then they will also sell their alt coin, if you see the chart when bitcoin go down the alt coin also fall down, so the falling of bitcoin definitely impact the alt coin price in negative way
People were actually afraid and easily panic when the bitcoin price decline like they think that it's a doom day and so they selling as much as they can.

I believe by now everyone are aware of this kind of trend and know what should be the initial reaction to it. And the fact that people look at bitcoin as inferior to the altcoins as so their trust is on it.

However, we see a trend that when bitcoin goes up, altcoins dump more to which people are putting more into bitcoin as they or we see it as the strongest one.
I think for the decline that occurred in the Bitcoin become opportunities for making Altcoin progress so rapidly to generate even more profit, which led him to become the main profitable coin. so very nice with the count on it as a support when things Bitcoin decline.

unfortunately, btc price reflects on altcoins too much, because of trading pairs altcoin-btc, altcoin-eth. As for me, better look on the project itself, if it's good, it will survive from 2000 other crypto, it's just temporarily. Another good tendency of more stable coin coming to market, it can stabilize situation a little bit with time.

Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?
There is nothing bad and they are all the same, price drops sometimes and also increase. It can’t just be increasing all the time. I don’t really know the reason why price fall, but normally we say that’s because people are selling, but if you look at it– altcoins even drop when Bitcoin is dropping, so is that likely to be the reason as to why prices are falling? Maybe not. It’s not going to affect altcoins, when it’s the right time they will all increase again.

For altcoin has always been bad fall of bitcoin, because it is the main factor that affects him and does not allow him to make their own growth.

I think it is just a matter of time until altcoins will not be affected by this. When bitcoin is dropping altcoins are affected too.

Bitcoin is the master of the crypto market. Altcoins will always crawl over Bitcoin. This is not so bad. Predictability is a good factor.

Although most of the altcoins present valid alternatives to solve the deficiencies of bitcoin or seek to offer adequate solutions for a specific niche of users, unfortunately the market has ignored the intrinsic value of each altcoin and seems to have put them all in the same bag, punishing them too much in times of high volatility in the behavior of bitcoin, which is no more than a clear signal that those who are investing in altcoins do so for purely speculative purposes, without any commitment for individual projects, so undoubtedly it is bad for the altcoins that the price of bitcoin remains bearish.

One thing that new investors in the market feel when the market drops sharply is a good luck to them. That is the time for them to buy more than before the market fell

all of bitcoin's interdependence is very influential on the development of bitcoin and giving positive things bitcoin will always be there because of the existence of altcoins and altcoins will stand against a market that is good for investment and buyers.

It is always bad for all of the coins that bitcoin is dropping, when the price of bitcoin drops then the prices of altcoins follow through because they all have some kind of trading pairs with bitcoin. That is why if any of us wants our altcoins to do well then we all have to give bitcoin the utmost support that we can, we can only have a bull market when the price of bitcoin bulls

Of course! Btc controls everything in the crypto industry. Every coin is directly or indirectly tied to bitcoin and this means bitcoin dictates the movement of almost every coin. When bitcoin dips, others usually follow and at this time, Bitcoin is dipping and its already reflecting by the movement of other coins. The crypto market needs a stable bitcoin to actually maintain a stable run, an appreciation in bitcoin prices ultimately leads to an appreciation in altcoin prices and that is what we all want to see.

btc is the market leader in cryptocurrency and it sets the trend in the market . The market is now bearish and all the other altcoins follow him. But this situation gives the opportunity to purchase the digital currency when its price is at the bottom , ie the time for long term investment.

I think altcoin will be affected when market of BTC are dropping ,it is because they are just depended on the fluctuation of Bitcoin .But I believe there will be more expected to happen in the perfect time.

I think since all altcoins in any case depend on bitcoin, it is likely that its fall will have a negative impact on all altcoins. I hope someday they will be independent from each other.

The price of altcoins depends on the price of bitcoin. I think that, by the end of 2018, bitcoin will begin to grow in price, and behind it the entire cryptocurrency market.

Keep in mind that many altcoins are based on BTC model, so they will do the same things as BTC. On the other hands, we need stable BTC to make people sure about future of industry.
