The price of alternative coins is very dependent on the price of Bitcoin. Yesterday there was a big drop in the market and we were once again convinced that Bitcoin is the main coin on which the whole cryptocurrency market depends.

It is very bad for all of the altcoins that bitcoin is dropping, there is no way that the market is going to be bull if the price of bitcoin is still down since this is what determines the price and value of all of the coins in the market. All the coins depend on bitcoin for their price and their value, that is how it is because of the trading pairs that exists between them
I also think that it will be very difficult for altcoins to pump when bitcoin prices fall because indirectly bitcoin is the most influential coin and it can even be said that the market is about bitcoin so when the bitcoin price falls then the market will fall as well as all existing coins inside it |

To those cryptos which are dependent with Bitcoin's market value, it would be surely a negative situtaion. How to know if the coins are dependent with BTC? simply observe if there is ALWAYS a proportionality with the dumps and pumps of thos coins and Bitcoin's. Proportionality simply means direct relationship of dependence. Some altcoin happened to be dependent to Bitcoin and ethereum. But since all cryptos are now on downfall, the situation itself is bad for investors.

Obviously very influential on Altcoin and that has a bad effect. Altcoin's progress and decline depends on Bitcoin. Whatever happens to Bitcoin is sure happen to Altcoin and that is certain. I hope Bitcoin will recover soon and return to the real track so that Altcoin will also go up and the Altcoin that I have can provide profit for me.

Not all altcoins have a strong connection with bitcoin, but it somehow still affects them. On what the coin more, on what the less. Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies, it occupies a leading place and of course it has an impact on the market.

as far as I know if the price of bitcoin goes down it will definitely have an impact on others, as the price of other coins goes down, investors feel anxious and afraid because the price of crypto is decreasing |

Not really bad, although altcoins usually drop when you see Bitcoin price dropping. Yes is bad for altcoins that bitcoin price drops. I think we need in future to have for top altcoins pairs with fiat EUR, USD, GBP... not only with bitcoin, to have a possible stable price for altcoins and at least to not see a huge drop of price when bitcoin drops so low to not have so much affect on altcoins price.

Alts is good to trade in but very risk when btc drop as it will give two negative price to alts by both dollar and btc value , I like the fact that btc is very important in cryptocurrency and so the alts but when btc dip many coin suffer in it.
