Something in the last time I very much start to doubt that the prices for the whole cryptocurrency are tied to the price of Bitcoin.  Even altcoin today does not significantly change in price, Despite the fact that since the beginning of 2019, Bitcoin has increased almost 5 times in price, and all cryptocurrencies have remained at their level.

Agree, once the price of Bitcoin is increasing almost all altcoins prices will start decreasing because the value of altcoin price should match with the Bitcoin, we are seeing this whenever the price of Bitcoin increasing or decreasing. So there are chances to increase the price of altcoin only when the price of Bitcoin going down again.

I think it's very good when the bitcoin price falls, most likely when btc falls the altcoin price will rise which I often see in the crypto market.

Though btc is little on down trend but not much rise happening in the altcoins and just unsure which ways altcoins are going to go as in past one month they were on the falling trend itself and many have lost huge amount due to altcoins fall in price.

When Bitcoin is falling, altcoins are falling also, and if you invested in tokens a lot, there is a great probability that your alts will go down. It happens all the time - suppose, this time, the fall will not last for more than several days.

But if you were looking at Alts/Fiat, it might be different case here
BTC is paired to fiat, so generally Alts is also equal to BTC equal to fiat

However, for people who wanted to have more in terms of portfolio than fiat, holding alts could be good as you can hedge on the btc pricing when it drop

It is bad not just for altcoin but for the whole market as well,bitcoin is the sign of the status of his crypto market so whatever th trend of bitcoin defies the status of the investments

With bitcoin quick rise investors are being moved to sell out their alts and hold bitcoin, emotional traders always play that way and it's had to predict how alts will move along, if you are into this phase you can scalp and do things according to your favor, so both ways rise or fall as long as you can take the opportunities to catch up with gaining decent, it will be depend on how traders interpret the market and how they will find ways to still in the positive sides.

In a market situation like this I think it would be reasonable if investors sell altcoin for bitcoin because now the growth and market movements are dominated by bitcoin. altcoin will lag if market conditions like this run and last long. altcoin must think of ways to walk together with bitcoin.

All coins are affected when BTC Is dropping in market because as far as I know this is the one they bases for in terms of increasing price.In this several days it was nothing to say but just waiting for the comeback.

I agree with you. Basically most times when investors sell off bitcoins, it's not necessarily to cashout to fiat but largely to invest in altcoins with good potential and this activity is what moons the altcoins. This is just the basic economic cycle of cryptocurrency

That's because the BNB has a good moment even though bitcoin down they can still make all investors buy it. the moment the IEO event also helped the BNB to be strong even though bitcoin dropped. if altcoin wants to grow it looks like they have to see how BNB make their own pumps.

Right now the market of altcoins fell low when there is growth with the bitcoin value. Now as the price has fallen, the altcoins have fallen further, but the dominance level of bitcoin and altcoins were almost the same without much difference over the price variation and marketcap that contribute to the dominance and the price.
