So many cryptocurrencies !

That's right, at the moment I see a lot of different coins. I do not have much experience to choose good coin and invest so now I only invest in BTC and ETH.

I definitely agree there are a lot of different coins and i do not think that all of them are good for long term investment and profitable just like bitcoin and ethereum because they do not have any good value that is why it is very risky to invest in other coins.

Even bitcoin and ethereum is risky, once you start investment or trading you also need to start to face the risk, so even there are a lot of coin are coming you can study about their project or the future of that coin to know if it is good to invest.

For me, yes there are so many cryptocurrencies right now that are becoming active because there are no rules or regulation to stop creating this cryptocurrency. That is the main reason why some articles or news saying that there are some people have been a scam or fraud its because when they invest a massive amount of money on it, it disappears or become worthless after a week. I think that is one of the disadvantage side cryptocurrencies because even they have some roadmaps, platforms some this crypto are taking the advantage to scam other people. But on the other side, it’s the people who invest in it fault. That is the reason why some government sectors want to create a group or law that will look up to this new cryptocurrency or exchangers.

There are 1624 currently active cryptocurrencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies exchanges working right now in 2018.
With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!
It just increases risks of any Fraud.
Small companies often are at a risk of shutting down with so tough competition.
The reason why the percentage of market Bitcoins dominates isn't exactly because they got less investors now , it's just because with so many currencies around the globe it's getting saturated and distributed .
Only some of them would be successful like 10-20 but with this tough competition it's risking people's investments and both these small small exchanges.
I strongly believe that a regulatory body should tackle this and then make a decision.
I think is negative in it's own way.

If the ICO is continually increased there are a lot of competitors. So, it hard to select which of them are have a potential in the future. I wish that the regulation creates by the government offices is not against the bitcoin and Eth. For more development of all crypto

Cyrpto Currancy is currently developing very fast, so a lot of new coin-coin, in my opinion will make people confused to choose, especially now many ICOs are failing and also a lot of fraud. only the strongest coins that will survive in the crypto currancy market

1624 is a lot, and I guess, it will not take a long time to even reach the 10k currencies. Not bother me anyways, I accept, that not every project has potential, and it is part of the game to find the great projects.

A few years from now you wont be seeing majority of the coins in the market as it will fade away eventually and that is the fact, with token creation platforms anyone can create their own projects and no one is monitoring what they are doing with the money collected, things will tighten a few years from now and we wont see these crap projects coming up after the regulation.

Believe, there are more than 1624 cryptocurrencies, if we count the dead ones. I left Bitcoin for over a year, because all I kept seeing were 20 new copy and paste coins back in the days, and I thought this was going to ruin the whole market. I really wish I stayed put.

Generally it is how our physical market also works. Those ICOs are like the fruit stand you see. Either those fruit will be left to rot in the market or just simply go golden in time. It is a matter of competition that makes these market "interesting". They are risking their capital and their expenses in exchange of getting the profit out of the services or the goods they can sell it. Scams are a different discussion and shouldn't be explained in this topic.

I think If their crypto currency does not survive in a cruel competition with many other opponents then I think it is the developers fault and we do not have to think about it because we are just basing our investment on their future plans and strategies.
Every crypto currency has their own road map and I think it is their responsibility, developers, to take that path in their minds, will make their crypto a success.

When you try out crypto coins you will find a lot of coins with different result and this is due to their different market values. The market values are controlling b the demand of people which makes the coin either more valuable or less valuable.

If you are a productive person and want to get maximum profit then proceed for the Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the most profitable and valuable currency and its investment will payoff on large scale.

I get your point about there being too many, but surely you can say the same about fiat currencies? They each have (or at least should have) they're own unique purpose, and the cream will always rise to the top. People in the marketplace will be the regulators, and weak coins will be eliminated.

They are enough yes. But the market is so big that there is room for more because there is a large concentration of the early adopters, which is why new markets emerge to stimulate decentralization.

The survival of the strongest. It seems like that the survival of fittest can be seen in crypto. The more the merrier but sometimes there are disadvantage of this saying because the more coins in crypto it will become the more hard to identify the coins that won't survive and the coins that will disappear in crypto. All the currencies are only built for good way there is no other hacking will be possible but some of them that place so choosing a best currency is very hard job so we could do many researches far away investment before investing take more time it will help you very much .
