Higher education, is it so important?

I do not think that higher education is must have. But it is good to train your brain, because you will be disciplined to learn for few hours without a problem. Content wich higher education provide is mostly outdated, but there are exemptions from faculty to faculty, and from professor to professor.
Overall, if it is expensive for you to have a higher education, then it is not worth that much. It is better to find job without higher education and learn something that it is interesting to you ONLINE.
Higher education could be great if you can make connections with your colleague, professors or maybe institutions, otherwise higher eduaction is not that important for your future doings.

Both are important,though they say that experience is the best teacher but degree will give you the opportunity to brighten the knowledge and mastering each part of the said field

A lot of it depends on what you want to go into when you are older.  Going to college wasn't really a choice for my.  My parents pretty much put me on that track because they didn't go themselves and that is what I did.  I don't regret it, but it didn't necessarily get me any farther ahead in life.  I have a friend that has zero college and she is the manager of a successful title company.  She makes more than my wife does and my wife has a Masters degree.  If I hadn't went to college, I probably would have went into something like HVAC technician and I would probably still be making more than I am today.  I know people who are doing the whole apprenticeship thing to be an electrician or plumber will be making huge amounts of money when they are finished.

Higher education or education in general became a business. It's not about knowledge anymore, like in the far past, but about titles, certificates, and many many graduations levels. The only reason people keep doing more and more courses it's to justify receiving a higher wage later.
That is why I think higher education nowadays isn't so important.

But of course it's important to pursue a goal, to pursue knowledge, in a manner it will affect and improve life on the practice.

You need higher education in this life. It is because that is what you need to get a decent job. Having a diploma makes it more easier finding a job than to be a high school graduate or undergraduate.

But, we did not know those people that are currently on the top. Like Jack Ma, Steve Jobs and many billionaires that didn't finished studying. Sometimes, we only need is a good shot on business or even an idea could make a change. But, being resourceful is one of the things you need to have.

In my locality there is a saying IF YOU'RE EDUCATED, YOU'RE RICHER than many other people. When someone is educated automatically he'll get to know what needs to be done further. Without education it is very hard to survive in the present world. Our government have started a scheme 0% uneducated which means each and everyone will be provided with free education until school leaving.

If you had to do it all over would you go to college?

I had completed my studies, and now i don't need again, because i am degree holder. But i suggest to students, should complete your study because without study you cant' do anything. We should see those people who are uneducated they are just survive their life, they can't do jobs and people never give respect for those persons who have no education.

Higher education is very important but it shouldn't be seen as an end itself, rather it's a means to an end. So as you are striving to acquire higher education, other skills and vocational education is equally needful.

Higher education is good but not necessary for everyone. I never enjoyed it during my own days. 
It was extremely boring, very intimidating, distracting and creepy. It was more  about reading all manners  of mandatory junks and  passing exams. 
The biggest mistake I made while in school back then was focusing on what interest me the most instead of reading the junk to be among the best in exams.

Self study is much better. It allows you to focus on what matters and use it in a practical way to better your family,  your society and yourself
