When everyone meets that criteria then recruiters will add extra criteria to be selected sometimes they will look at the skills over the degree.You can get a job in Google even without having a degree so learn the technology instead of studying for exams.

Personally i would have pursued the degree that suits ny passion and work now, i somehow joined the wrong degree and yes i agree that higher education is not necessary just basic education is enough to live or work well.

It depends on what you want to be and what you want to do. For example, you have to go to a medical school if you want to be a doctor. There is no other way for it. But there are jobs that you don't need to have a higher education for it too. For example, you can improve yourself and get online jobs, start your own business etc. .

Currently, all large companies require their workers to come from university graduates, otherwise, it may not be possible to work. even a housewife is required to have a certificate for emergency preparation in the future.

Google, one of the biggest tech company in the world doesn't need degree to hire you so this os likely to be followed by every other companies in the future. You don't need degree but you still need skills to survive from the ocean of other competitors.

Not having had the funds nor the opportunity to get a higher education, I would absolutely have loved to have been able to. That said, my career has been a good one, but was never what I "wanted to be when I grew up". For that I would definitely have needed the paper backup that a proper post secondary education brings. Not to mention that it definitely increases your earning potential.

Its always not necessary to have the higher education, unless you are already brilliant and working some stuff which could make you millionaire in coming time. But if looking to do job then in today's competitive world education becomes a vital role in each one’s career and without which the growth might not be a fast paced.
