If you know how to time travel, yes you can. But kidding aside, prediction using technical analysis with bitcoin can work sometimes when the market is still very healthy. But sometimes a huge manipulation gets in the way and their predictions  does not happen and it's usually the opposite.

As you know, the cryptocurrency market can see huge changes in a matter of few minutes, making it very unpredictable. However, there are some fundamental factors which can influence the prices of any cryptocurrency. Prediction of Cryptocurrency future price are base on two factors 1) Historical price trends 
(2) Historical volume trends. So,  there can not be a single and concrete prediction of any Cryptocurrency because of the very nature of cryptocurrency.

The price may go up and down in its cycle but its value will increase over time and depends on stratergy and roadmap of each project

to make a prediction actually we both have to do research on the assets we will buy. no exception for long-term or short-term investments. but to make market predictions now very difficult, in fact many predictions are wrong.

it will be possible when there is no major player manipulating the market then price prediction will somewhat work,as generally chart reading depend on past volume and price so it is completely dependent on bag holders if they want to switch chart direction or not.generally market of many coin depend on fomo and fud which is created by respective coin event or big player or some trading groups that forms further volume to the market so ya there is more than half chance that prediction will work.

This market has been manipulated since it was born. In 2017 we can clearly see how it is manipulated, and until now the market remains the same. We can only predict prices if we can control it

Sometimes, yes it is possible. Prediction is possible when the market is regularly stimulating. If the market comes to a stagnant point then it becomes difficult to predict the price .

Well, it used to be possible in the past with fundamental analysis...it difficult to make predictions today. you can still take advantage of the little volatility by simply buying when the price goes down and sell when it goes up (Buy Low. Sell High).
