This is very unfortunate, For those you having issues, try the following - get latest wallet 3.0.0.1 - make sure you are on the right blockchain, the diff should be > 0.4 - if not add nodes addnode=198.72.187.145 addnode=70.73.168.208 addnode=178.195.158.188 addnode=212.129.1.77 addnode=46.39.246.24 addnode=71.177.158.16 addnode=24.192.244.107 addnode=172.245.21.138
- if it's still not on the right one, then you have to delete all the blockchain data and redownload everything, be sure not to delete walleet.dat And yes I had to do all the above to be on the right chain. Happy mining.

poloniex is possibly on a fork, withdrew EBT and never show up in the wallet. Wait for withdrawing until polo sorted this out.
To our understanding, the poloniex wallet server has been down. We have been in contact with them and they know what the correct block chain is.

Discontinuing POW at block 400001 This is a bad idea... Decreasing the coin supply unexpectedly could be problematic for distribution, especially since the premine gets larger. On the other hand, the same thing happened with BlackCoin. It was supposed to be 100 mil coins, but POS kicked in and took out some POW blocks, so it ended with ~74 mil. Didn't seem to matter, and possibly made the coin more valuable because of relative scarcity.

"s you may have noticed EBT has been under attack for the last few weeks. These attacks have been traced back to hashing spikes that are greatly disproportionate relative to the difficulty.
I'm having difficulty understanding how miners doing what they are supposed to do (mine blocks) is an attack?
EBT was being flash mined, which resulted in several orphaned chains and crashed servers. Then as soon as the development team could get the pools coordinated on the correct chain, a flash would happen again. These events began looking less and less like a coincidence after the 3rd or 4th time. Regarding orphans, xminer's approach is best. Please take the steps he recommended to ameliorate your issues. Members of the development team have been getting confirmed stake through the night, with only a few orphans. But the orphans appear to be caused by instability in difficulty. Regarding premine questions, we will present proof of what we have in the wallet, as soon as we the project manager has time to make a report. However, the summary on the OP accurately reflects what we have spent. Also, we are preparing an analysis of the mining data of the block chain to show that ending PoW early will not significantly effect the size of the premine as a fraction of the total money supply. The reason is that most blocks currently being minted come from PoS. This fraction will only increase as the block rewards decrease and the network stake grows. We apologize for any late replies, sometimes the team has to sleep.

You guys clearly show commitment. :-) what are you gonna do about the premine that will be higher than 1% now? Would be nice if you could give us an idea of the remaining funds and your purpose with it.
