It occurred to me once too. I had to split the transactions to chunks of 500 if I recall correctly. Don't worry about the fees, it will remain the same since it's a % of the total lot.

Cheers.

It is working, indeed, but it keeps increasing the transaction fee. It started with 7 MAX as fee, and after sending some 3000 MAX, now the transaction fee is 13 MAX.
Is this normal behavior ?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Problem solved.
I had to reduce the fee from the wallet setup/settings to 0 (zero) and after that I was able to make the transfers

There is nothing monumental about another Maxcoin pump and dump.

What are you still doing here? mad because you sold all your MAX?.

Anyway, MAX passed the test of time like no other alt-coin and is doing pretty well (all that without keyser, he lost an opportunity here). With mcxnow out of the panorama, the coin can heal properly, it surely will.

Congrats to all in for the long run.

Got out of maxcoin a long time ago... That being said, if the wallet has coin control features, you can combine inputs until you have a few large ones. The error comes from a LOT of small inputs comprising the transaction. it's not the number of coins that's too large, it's the kb size of the TX.

coin control isn't the only way to do it. But it is the easiest. Just pick any two inputs, send the balance to yourself, wait for it to confirm, pick the one you just did and another one, wash rinse, repeat until you have several decent size inputs, or one really big one.

I know I'm too late this time, but maybe it'll help next time, or for somebody else. This is a frequent problem for people who use p2pool and/or faucets.

Hi Josh, can you give anymore information about maxcoin metals? I would love to know more but if you cannot reveal any information right now i understand.
It is good to know there is now a team behind maxcoin. Price is staying quite steady and regular amounts being sold, should i be buying more ?

Metals.maxcoin.uk will be a portal page to view and learn about the past and present Maxcoin metals products, and with links to the respective sites where you can make a purchase. As of now, these products are run by individual Maxcoin believers, not the Maxcoin Foundation itself (Murphy's silver coins are an example). The next project will be a small run (200-250) of fancy but durable paper wallets with enclosed gold (.05, .1, .5, and possibly 1 full gram units). Valaurum notes will very likely be offered soon, too. Other Maxcoiners are encouraged to think of ideas to further link the currency to precious metals. We're happy to promote and link to new products. The metals page will also provide live prices and charting data for the Maxcoin/Metals nexus, something folks can use to gauge the crypto/metals worth of various products. More details in August.

Should you buy Maxcoin? It's always awkward offering such advice as an insider, but we obviously believe Maxcoin and metals are underpriced. With the present financial crises, both may prove to be a very solid hedge and wise investment.

What's up, guys? Why is so silent here, anybody still alive? Do we have any developer here?

I feel like there is no progress lately. No more discussion, no more ideas, no more implementation.

So sad.

Come on guys, what do you really expect? There'S absolutely no development occured in many many months now. The latest price increase was nothing but a pump and dump from a group and that's it. Even back when the coin was mostly traded on mcxnow, the only activity that happened to this coin was some quite regular P&D. I still have some MAX but unfortunately nobody gives a shit about this coin and it won't go anywhere anythime soon.

Not your keys, not your coins!
