The value of digital money is huge. So You should not let anyone know your wallet password and wallet file. You have to be careful with phishing sites.

In addition, that it should be several addresses, the use of Metamask, other, you should try to provide as much information about yourself as possible in social networks, email. It's very good to use a computer or other device for crypto only.
very easy, you just need to save your wallet site, by way of bookmark the address of the site,
guaranteed safe is 99% Cheesy your money is safe.
I do not think this is a guarantee of 99%. An attacker can replace a link in your bookmarks. It is better to save MEW on your computer using the following instructions: https://kb.myetherwallet.com/offline/ethereum-cold-storage-with-myetherwallet.html
This increases your chances of being protected from phishing.

Certainly the only obvious way to secure your wallet from being hacked is by using hardware wallet to save your coins, it offers great security than software wallet there are few that are tested and trusted such as trezor , keepkey and Ledger Nano S. With hardware wallets your coins are safe even if your computer is hacked or someone stole your Hardware wallet. If you lose your hardware wallet, you can always restore all your coins on a new wallet.

I think not exposing the wallet address to anyone is not an option. As it is very important link to send and receive the crypto coins through it then it becomes mandatory to at least share the public address with anyone with whom we are taking the translations. Consider that we are getting involved in the bounty programs then everywhere we have to send our ether address to receive those bounty tokens. Thus we are already sending it towards most of the public channels. So thats not an option at all. We need a middle way where we should be looking after the saving of our private keys securely and also looking after the websites SSL certificates.

Avoid letting of others if you have a important documents. We keep it in a safe place and we put it in my bag that I can carry everyday when we are going to work. Every minute I watch my bag to protect with them because I know what is inside of my bag.

It is right. I have a public purse, then I translate all my tokens into a cold wallet, which I use very rarely. It will always be so, some look for vulnerabilities, others do fixes.

I think it is very dangerous if the wallet is not maintained properly, and to avoid the hacker I also use a wallet hardware or an offline wallet called nano ledger.

No wants to give away their personal details to others but scammers are very smart to steal things from common people.

If you can afford to buy hardware wallets then it will be the best option to protect you but if you can't afford then on the PC where you usually login into any of the online wallet don't download unnecessary things on that PC and use good anti-virus software to protect your PC from unknown viruses.

I use MyEtherWallet wallet and coupled with MetaMask, I think it is safe enough, because login does not need to use private key directly. And save all the data safely, it's good for me.

This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.
Remember to put antivirus to keep our personal computer is clean from the malware, copy and paste your privatekey is not a big problem as long as you will never publishing, clicking or any act that can be trapped by the phishing site. I never have any problem with it. i just try to keep anything privately and then never try to visit any suspicious site.

The best way to protect our money from hacker is using hard wallet such as ledger or trezor. But its not cheap. Its cost around 79.00 €.

So for beginner we can use metamask in our google chrome to protect it. It can protect us for entering phising website. Its important to us not to join anyting (ex : airdrop) which use our private key as requirement. And also a project that have link directly to the wallet. Always open our wallet directly from new tab, or we can bookmark it.

Also save our private key in many different thing such as usb and write it in a paper, make 2 or more copy of it and save in different location. Also dont ever share our private keys with others. Once it done, we lost ours forever and it cant be recovered.

true what you say.. there are only a few ways to do theft on our wallet
1. phishing links (fake email. fake login link)
2. virus
3. human error (paste private key on form bounty)

therefore if when we do the work involving the transaction crypto remain be careful.

it's easy to proctect our wallet for our funds in our wallet to better put your gmail and wallet up 2x that you can not really hack your wallet to steal your funds and lose your money. Purchase a ledger nano though it's a bit awkward that your funds are also safe there

Nowadays every investors are using wallet.I think hardware wallet is the best wallet for all. Because it is less risky than other wallet. But if want to protect your wallet you can use metamask.

Thanks for your information. I think many people should realize the importance of hardware wallets. If using a hardware wallet is not possible to hack. But you must keep 24-word seed for recovery the hardware wallet if gone.

I divide my investment into several wallets including a hardware wallet, paper wallets, and some coin wallets. I think the paper wallet might be the safest, but once the private key is used, I think it is no longer as secure. The hardware wallets are not that expensive right now and they seem to work pretty well and are supposed to be very secure.

Yes this is a good strategy to have our coins safe but if someone is having valuable coims then why he cannot afford to buy an hardware wallet which is less than $100,so it will be better to buy an hardware wallet to save our coins safe for long term.

There is a little confusion here. Displaying or sharing your ETH address is not a risk in itself. Up until now, it's not possible to hack an ETH wallet just knowing the ETH address. If this were the case, anyone could search for the addresses with more ETH or tokens and hack them.

Use several wallets for your portfolio. And it will be better if you use offline wallet. It is almost impossible to hack easily.
